Boat was running great last Spring, donor took it out on Mother's Day. Heard a big BANG! and smoke started pouring out of the engine compartment. He shut it down, got it towed in and has not used it since.He thought about it and decided to move on, and donated it to our organization. We had it looked at by our mechanic, he got it to turn over and fire. He tells me it ran strong for the short time it was hooked up to the hose. Not sure what the issue was, but wanted to make sure we mentioned it. Mechanic said he thought it could be a harmonic balancer. We haven't gone any further with it and are going to sell it "As is".
