Skagit Express Cruiser

Probably the finest 1957 Skagit Express Cruiser still in use. It is loaded with goodies and, while it has minor dings, it turns heads on the water and at boat shows. It comes complete with a 2003 King Saltwater trailer and a strong 1986 Evinrude 50 hp. twin cylinder outboard with 145 lbs. compression on each cylinder. The transom was professionally rebuilt with Coosa board making it strong enough to hold any outboard you might want to put on it. However, there is no need to replace the Evinrude which sips fuel from the twin 12 gallon tanks and easily gets the boat quickly up on plane. For starting, it has two Optima batteries with a switch so you can turn both off, both on or either port or starboard on. You should never be caught with a dead battery with this system.The recently rewired trailer has LED lights and Bearing Buddies to protect the bearings from water. Other features include professionally built burgundy Sunbrella bimini and boat cover which cover the top of the outboard, which is painted to match the boat. Burgundy vinyl cushions, custom built professionally, grace the cuddy cabin along with a vinyl covered Sani-Potty. The boat has a hard to find collapsible ladder which attaches to the bow for getting from boat to beach and back to boat. If the water is "bumpy" or you just don't want to see a ladder on your deck, two pins, attached to the mount, can be pulled and the ladder stored below deck.Included, of course, is the Uniden Solara VHF radio with DSC, depth finder, anchor with anchor line and the owner's manual for the outboard motor. The radio antenna is missing. It just screws onto the mount. I have seen 8 foot antennas online for $40.
