It's time to find Joie de Vivre a new home. I love her and she's been a great learning experience for me, but I have business projects that are taking me away from water for a while. Buying a boat is a big decision, so I'm going to make every effort to list everything I know about JDV so her next owner can know as much as possible.Overview & HistoryI purchased this boat (then called Shook up Shark) in Charleston, SC in January of 18. I had both an engine inspection and a full survey done. Prior to my purchase it was being used as an AirBnB - which I liked because that meant all of the living quarters were in good, workable condition. I hired a captain to bring her down to Savannah with me and she has been docked at the Morningstar Marina here since that point. Since then I have taken her out 6 times, all short cruises to either downtown Savannah or Daufuskie Island. On one trip we snapped a throttle cable. That was repaired. On another we had an issue that ultimately turned out to be a $25 relay that caused the starboard engine to die. I had that repaired by Hinckley Marine and they have told me it's a permanent fix. This is the more rare 'AC' or Aft Cabin model, meaning that unlike the sport fisher models the back deck is raised so that a full aft cabin with head and shower will fit where the fishing deck would otherwise be. This makes for a great deal of living space on a 34' boat. It can easily sleep 5-6.I removed two of the cheap TVs (salon and aft cabin) and added one on a swivel mount that can be used as a TV/dual monitor (I work from home and I've setup so I can work from JDV as well).I've had her washed regularly and the bottom scraping done 3 times this summer. She is due for a bottom paint. The top enclosure is less than 2 years old, the engines have approx 990 hours on them. She has a Kohler generator that is not operational, though I'm told it could be repaired. It hasn't been an issue for me since I've kept her at a dock with shore power. The risers and manifolds were replaced on both engines last year.A Garmin 7610xsv chartplotter and depth finder was installed last year as well -https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/p/151678I can send you the survey that was completed last February. No reserve - Sold As-Is, Where-Is - $2,000 non-refundable deposit due within 24 hours of auction close, buyer must take possessionwithin 30 days.
