HULL DECK AND SUPERSTRUCTURE
HULL CONSTRUCTIONTYPE:
Modified V, planing type. The hull is constructed of a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) laminate, finished with gel coat
above the waterline and an anti fouling paint below. The decks are constructed of an FRP cored laminate, finished with
gel coat and a nonskid texture along the working surfaces. The cosmetic condition of the superstructure was found to be
in average condition for her vintage. The partitions, bulkheads and hull to deck joints were inspected where accessible
and found to show no visual signs of weakness due to flexing or separation of their fastenings. Hull to deck joint was of
the overlap type construction, with stainless fasteners, observed in the chain locker, forward.
BULKHEADS:
Athwartships reinforcement enhanced by cored FRP bulkheads bonded to the hull with FRP (fiber reinforced
plastic). Appears serviceable where sighted.
STRINGERS:
Hull stiffness provided by FRP encapsulated longitudinal stringers. Complete inspection not possible due to
limited access. Appears serviceable where observed.
TRANSOM:
FRP transom with swim platform. Serviceable.
BILGE:
Generally clean
CHAIN LOCKER (DRAINAGE):
The chain locker is forward with drainage topsides. Serviceable.
LIMBER HOLES:
Limber holes are of adequate size and clear where sighted.
DECK CONSTRUCTION
TYPE:
Molded and cored FRP (fiber reinforced plastic) with white gelcoat and non-skid surface.
COCKPIT:
Cored FRP with molded in non skid, serviceable.
DECK FITTINGS
BOW PULPIT (BOW RAIL):
Welded stainless steel bow rail, serviceable.
VENTILATION:
Provided by portlights/hatches - serviceable. Forward hath is 20 x 20", doubles as emergency exit.
SCUPPERS:
Cockpit and decks drain overboard. No scuppers sighted.
WINDLASS/GROUND TACKLE:
PowerWinch 12 volt windlass securely mounted at foredeck with switching at the helm. Ground
tackle observed on vessel was an adequate Danforth type anchor, with a nylon rode. Serviceable.
HAWSE PIPES:
One, (1) forward above the chain locker, appears to be stainless. Serviceable.
CLEATS:
6 stainless steel cleats, thru bolted and serviceable.
ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND ACCESSORIES
CANVAS AND COVERS:
Tan camper top covers the cockpit with eisenglass forward above the windshield.
FENDERS:
An adequate array of fenders were observed on board the vessel at the time of survey.
DOCK LINES:
An adequate array of dock lines were observed on vessel at the time of survey.
CABIN APPOINTMENTS
FLOOR AND WINDOW COVERINGS:
Carpet for the cabin sole, vinyl type headliner.
HEADS:
Vessel is equipped with an electric flush head to starboard, aft salon area. Operable. System included a
polypropolene holding tank, located centerline below the salon sole. Raw water supply seacock and waste discharge seacock were bronze and operable, located below the salons sole centerline Holding tank is USCG marine sanitationdevice type III.
SHOWERS:
Head is equipped with separate stall shower. Drainage is to plastic sump, located centerline below cabin sole.
Equipped with Rule 800 bilge pump, discharge is topsides. Serviceable.
FRESH WATER SYSTEM:
The faucet fixtures and sinks were operable. Two aluminum freshwater storage tanks in the aft bilge.
The vessel is equipped with a 19 gallon water heater, located forward engine compartment, was turned on and was foundto be operable. Water heater was not labeled ignition protected. Water pressure supplied by a 12 volt Shurflo pump within line strainer.
LIGHT FIXTURES:
12 volt cabin lights throughout the vessel were operable.
AIR CONDITIONING UNITS:
Two Climaa units, one port salon area, and one below the forward berth. Aft unit was inaccessible
without dissassembly for inspection, but was controlled with digital controls, and was found to be serviceable. Forwardunit was inspected below bunk, found to be serviceable. Raw water supply was located in the engine compartment, abronze ball valve with double clamped hose, operable valve connected to a March 110 volt pump, labeled ignitionprotected. Discharge was port and starboard topsides. System was serviceable.
TELEVISIONS:
A 20" Vizio TV in the forward stateroom.
STEREO, ETC.:
West Marine WM7000 unit in the salon, powers up.
GALLEY
LOCATION: The galley is located to port upon entrance to the main cabin area. Equipped with Haier refrigerator, a Kenyon two
burner electric stove, a West Bend microwave, and a single stainless basin with drainage to topsides. All powered up and
were found to be operable.
PROPULSION
MAIN ENGINES
TYPE:
Two gas powered V-8 engines by Crusader, 502ci models, rated at 405 hp each. Engines were reportedly rebuilt in 2015.
SERIAL NUMBERS:

INDICATED HOURS:
The owner reported the engines have 40 hours since they were rebuilt. No hourmeters sighted.
THROTTLE CONTROLS:
Morse mechanical lever/cable type. Serviceable.
FLAME ARRESTOR:
Yes, labeled USCG approved.
ENGINE MOUNTS AND BED:
FRP stringers port and starboard. In conjunction, adjustable motor mounts are bolted to the
stringers and are used to align the engine to the hull stringer structure. Serviceable.
LUBRICATION:
Normal level observed.
VENTILATION:
Power blowers were operable. Natural ventilation provided by topsides vents, port and starboard.
EXHAUST SYSTEM:
Raw water cooled, double clamped and serviceable.
ENGINE SHUT DOWN:
Key switches, clearly marked at helm station.
IGNITION PROTECTION:
Starters, alternators, fuel pumps, carburetors and distributors were of the marine design. Bilge
pumps, and battery charger were labeled ignition protected.
COOLING SYSTEM
TYPE:
Raw water, direct cooling.
RAW WATER STRAINERS:
Bronze alloy sea strainers in engine compartment. Sea cocks were bronze and operable, hose was
double clamped and serviceable.
HOSES AND CLAMPS:
Re-inforced rubber hose double clamped and well routed and supported, where sighted.
BELTS AND PULLEYS:
Belts condition appears serviceable. Carry spares on vessel at all times.
TRANSMISSIONS
TYPE:
V-drives by Borg Warner, data plates were not legible.
CONTROLS:
Morse type mechanical cable and linkage.
PACKING GLAND:
Bronze hex nut packing glands with four stainless steel clamps found to be in serviceable condition.
FUEL SYSTEM
MAIN ENGINE(S) FUEL SYSTEM
FUEL TYPE:
Gasoline. Two aluminum tanks, mounted port and starboard outboard engine compartment were observed onvessel. Securely mounted. Deck fills were port and starboard side deck, clearly marked for GAS. Spin on fuel waterseparating filters were observed for both engines and genset.
FILL PIPE GROUNDED:
Not sighted due to access.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (D.C. SYSTEM)
VOLTAGE:
Lead acid battery powered 12 volt system. Four lead acid group 27 batteries, mounted centerline engine
compartment in boxes with lids. Batteries capacities were 650 CCA each and dated December 2016.
PANEL:
The main DC panel is located port at the companionway, equipped with main breaker and individually labeled branch
breakers. Also equipped with voltage and amperage analog gauges.
TYPE CONNECTORS:
Round, captive type where observed. Serviceable.
ROUTING/SUPPORT:
Well supported and secured where sighted.
CHARGING SYSTEM (BATTERY CHARGER):
12 volt 60 amp battery charger by Abso, serviceable.
CHARGING SYSTEM (ALTERNATOR):
Two belt driven alternators, appear serviceable.
ELECTRICAL SYSTEM (A.C. SYSTEM)
SHORE POWER INLET:
Two Marinco 30 amp, 125 volt inlets located starboard transom, with pushbutton breakers adjacent.
Two 30 amp cords were observed on vessel, serviceable. Main electrical pael was equipped with rotary type sourceselector switch, two main breakers, individually labeled branch breakers, voltage and amperage analog gauges, andreversed polarity indicators. Outlets were checked and the polarity was found to be normal, operable GFCI outlets wereobserved in head and galley.
ROUTING:
Well routed and supported where sighted.
GALVANIC ISOLATOR:
Galvanic isolator by Quicksilver.
GENERATORS AND INVERTERS
TYPE:
Generator driven by gasoline powered engine. Onan m/n 6.5MCE, s/n D900314311. Generator was reported to beinoperable.
KILOWATT RATING:
6.5 kw
LOCATION:
Centerline aft engine compartment.
FLUID LEVELS:
Coolant normal. Oil normal.
EXHAUST SYSTEM:
Aqualift type with rubber hose, double clamped and supported, serviceable.
FLAME ARRESTOR:
Yes, labeled USCG approved.
SANITATION
SANITATION (GREY WATER)
BASINS, SHOWERS, HOSES AND CLAMPS:
The basins on the vessel drain to topside thru-hulls in immediate area of basin. Theshower on this vessel drains to a sump and is pumped overboard topsides. Hoses and clamps are serviceable.
STEERING SYSTEM
TYPE:
Hydraulic, by SeaStar, (Teleflex)
PACKING GLAND:
Bronze hex nut type packing gland. Appeared serviceable. Monitor frequently.

No carbon monoxide detectors observed on vessel. Carbon monoxide fume detectors arehighly recommended.
BILGE PUMPSLIST: Atwood 1200 forward engine compartment and a Rule 2000 aft bilge, both wired to operate off of float switches andswitching at the main panel, operable.
