1978 31'Silverton Convertible. This is a project boat and will require a good amount of all around work to get running again, however it has good bones. It has not been running for two years, however it has not been sitting in the back of a yard neglected for years. I'm on it a few times a week hanging out year roundas this is my second boat.I've owned it since 2007 and when the engines went I was planning on a diesel rebuild however I'm abandoning this project due to the need for a bigger boat. Both engines will need to be replaced. The right transmission is out of the boat and is ready for a rebuild (forward clutch is burnt out), the left transmission is good. New stuffing box on the port shaft. Some wiring should be cleaned up. Bimini top with full enclosure however the eisenglass has fogged. I received a quote for $800 to replace the glass (using the same canvas). Bimini top is in good condition. Fuel tank should be flushed. Interior is in excellent condition. Everything you see comes with the boat including the flat screen tv and DVD player. The only items that do not come with it is the fishing rods and tools. Boat was just hauled 10/8/14 for zincs and bottom paint (currently backin water). No soft spots, hull was moisture tested in 2005 and everything was good, and a survey was done in 2009. Left cabin window leaks a bit when it rains (common silverton problem). Good winter project. Mercs and V drives for propulsion.
