Sidewinder Super

Up for Auction is my 1972 Sidewinder 18 foot Jet Boat. No Reserve Auction!! It is in nice original condition. The bottom hull has been repainted some years back and is still looks good. From what I can tell it has the original fiberglass floor that is still very solid. The original clear coat is peeling. I have had it in the water a couple times this year and the last time i took it out the motor started to knock. Which I think a main bearing went out. Boat still starts and runs with a turn of the key. I have a complete unassembled 455 olds engine that is also included in this auction. Everything has been checked for cracks heads, block etc and is ready for the machine shop. Jet boat will need the top part painted and the interior cushion and also needs carpet. . I have not made it that far and my wife would rather have jet skis. This is what I have replaced that I can think of: newsteering cable system, place diverter cable ( rooster tail) throttle cable, exhaust flaps, new 31 gallon stainless steel fuel tank, battery, water, pump,alternator and belt, exhaust hoses, ignition switch, now has electronic ignition, cap and rotor, plugs, the motor thats in has 7 quart oil pan with high flow pump, all lights work as does the bilge pump and fan, original berkley jet pump works good as does the place diverter. New pressure reilef valve set at the right psi. Rpm gauge does not work but, have one to replace it. I think all other gauges are working. The title to the boat is in my name and have title for boat in hand.No title for trailer but have titlepaperwork to get one.. The trailer has new wiring and i have new aluminum wheels for trailer but, trailer needs to be converted to studs on the axle. Orginal rims and tires are included but, tires are dry rotted and hold air. Im sure Iam forgetting something so please email or call with any questions phone. Great winter project!! This is a rare find and about the only boat you can buy that will go up in value. This one has the original 455 motor with the Ka heads and berkeley exhaust and jet pump.
