1996 Sea Ray 500 Yacht Twin 3176 Caterpillar Diesel Engines With Generator

You are bidding on a freshwater 1996 Sea Ray 500 motoryacht. This yacht is currently located on Lake Allatoona in Acworth, GA and is equippedwith twin 3176 diesel caterpillar inboard engines, a generator, two heads, galley,two staterooms and plenty of outdoor entertaining areas.

The upholstery is mostly there but could use some updating.

Full camper enclosures, a mooring top and biminis areincluded. They are functional but could use some updating.

The spacious salon has a starboard galley with cabinets,MagicChef stand-up refrigerator/freezer, a breakfast bar with two stools. Aftof the galley is a large curved settee and room for a table.

There are two private staterooms. The forward masterstateroom has a larger than king berth with underbed storage, dressing tableand hanging cedar lockers. The ensuite head features a mirrored vanity, Vaccuflushhead and shower stall. The guest stateroom has upper and lower full sizedberths with storage and private head access, that also features a mirroredvanity, Vacuflush head and shower stall. All AC units operate properly - one in the galley, one in each stateroom. All house and engine batteries have been replaced within the last year (Fall 2022). Brand new tankless water heater operates well.

A complete out-of-water survey was conducted July 13, 2022and is available for the potential buyer. Hull antifouling bottom paint wascomplete with restored and balanced props July 2022.

Certified mechanic inspected yacht 3/11/23, here are his performance notes: engines are operating within proper range, just under 2400rpm each. No existing codes on either engine. Port side engine has a coolant temp sensorthat is not reading accurately. Port side exhaust has a minor leak at the turbogasket. Mechanic said boat operated at all proper speeds and temps, max speed is31mph with ease (as good as performance as new model). Aside from cosmetics,other minor issues are: generator needs impeller housing. Port side gauges arenot reading properly. Garmin display screen has a crack. Other original electronicdisplays could use replacing. Prop shaft seals need to be replaced (part included), port side transmission needs output shaft transmission seals (in stock, our mechanic can replace for an additional charge).
