Hi Folks, up for sale is my 19 Foot Sea Sprite Cuddy Cabin. I bought abigger boat and I don't need both.A bit nervous about buying someone else's headache?...REST EASY...Here is what 've done...As of the last60 DAYS I have installed:Carburetor, Fuel pumpthermostat, thermostat housing, hoses,Riser, Starter, Alternator, BOTH Outdrive trim cylinders, rebuilt outdrive(1100.00), New Boots, Bellows, and seals.new Prop, Blower, bilge pump and float, new distributor, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, oil and filter, water separator, 2 new batteries, all new cables and battery switch, shift cable, waterproof fuse box, and a brand new Garmin GPS Map fish finder depth finder (that alone was almost 500.00) Total cost of repairs and labor was around $7000.00 and I have the receipts! (yes I'm stupid to spend all that money on a 1988 boat but the mechanic kept finding stuff and I just kept saying "FIX IT" I didn't actually do the math until the endand...oh well...my stupidity is your NEW BOAT....The boat is now mechanically awesome. Took her out this past holiday weekend in Barnegat bay at the Jersey Shore. She ran like a champ. Engine runs on VAPORS!! I filled up the tank and ran to the inlet and back (11 miles each way). Tooled around the bay for an hour and took her out of the water. I filled up the tank again...she only took6 gallons. (that was about 25-30 miles or so? I guess). She planes right up and runs around 30 MPH at 3800 RPM and burns less gas than any other boat I have ever owned. Very Economical.Engine runs smooth as silk and does not burn a drop of oil. Please don't ask me how many hours are on the engine. I have no clue....lol. I am not the original owner. I bought it from a friend a while back and he took decent care of it.She has a really nice swivel captain's chair and a back to back seat that folds out into a lounge chair. Both were installed newtwo years ago and are still almost perfect. The cabin sleeps two people comfortably and has a tinted vent hatch with screen. All in working order, with a Teak cabin door and teak trim hereand there The V-Berth cushions are fine inside but some of the covers are a bit tornandneed to be replaced. The Hull is rock solid and has no damage whatsoever. She could use a stereo a wax and maybe some pinstripes. Fresh Bottom paint was done last month. Nice swim platform with ladder so jump off and cool down....
She shows extremely well for a 1988 and you will be fine mechanically for many years to come. The trailer rollers work great and the boat slides on and off with ease. Trailer needs minor work. She has a little rust but nothing structural. She could use a new jack and crank and light kit. I have installed a portable tail light system that cost me 50 bucks so you can trailer it right away until you replace the actual trailer lights. All available at ANY boat store. I will put her in the water and you can see for yourself. I have a lake near my house so it's no problem. Also, I have a truck and can help deliver it within 50 miles of Mahopac NY. Call me with any questions...phone. Please no scammers with checks for twice the amount and instructions tomail you back the difference or other silliness......I've seen it all and it's a waste of time. I have 100 Percent positive feedback for the last 10 years so bid or buy with confidence!
