This is a beautiful boat when put back together, resale value for the boat then would be aprox 80k plus 10k for the Trailer. It is/was a dream of my wife and I and we have so enjoyed taking our time and refitting her. I am very sad at the thought of selling her but serious health issues have entered our life and just not sure the dream is feasible. This is someone's chance to own a absolute top of the line Cruiser/Yacht for about half price. That is a 100% return on your investment.

The Trailer is a Custom build from Williamson Ocean it was made for a 33ft Sea Ray and has SeaRay logo on it. It is a Top of the line Trailer with no rust anywhere. It has 17" tires with 80%+ tread, Bearings were recently repacked.

We bought the Boat in late 2013 from a friend who babied her, there was a minor fire in the cabin from a unattended candle. It was not a blazing fire but a slow smoldering one. There was extreme smoke damage to upper surfaces. The foam began to heat up and it burnt kind of under the surface, spreading from the couch to the carpet and kind of just smoldered through the Cabin. It did not appear there was ever an extreme fire event. But there was some smoke damage to most headliner, upper cabinets, and plastic surfaces. All of the headliner was ruined beyond repair from smoke and shrinkage. Damage was contained to the cabin because the door was closed which is the big reason the fire was only a smoldering one because it was starving for oxygen. The Halon system did not trigger.
We bought the Boat and began tearing her down and the only way to bring her back was strip everything down to fiberglass and begin the rebuilding starting with new headliner which is 100% done. Now the next phase is to start reinstalling each piece building her back up. 95% of these pieces have been recovered with new headliner. Also all cabinets (upper) have been rebuilt by a master craftsman to match the lowers. We had the couch in the cabin recovered professionally as well as all interior and exterior upholstery recovered by a leading upholster in the cruiser field. The head door was also recovered with new laminate when the cabinets were done. All of which need reinstalled.
The Engines are in great shape with a complete service including out-drive service and in-depth inspection, and impellers replaced on both engines as well as Gen. The engine compressions were all good ranging from 158-168. The batteries were all replaced as well.
What the boat needed was simply some loving care and a handyman to tear her apart and put her back together. About 99% of what she needs has been purchased and is in storage waiting for the puzzle to slowly go back together.
There is a new Microwave ready for initialization when the cabinets are put in, there was a new thermostat purchased to put back in during the refit as well as new rubber treads for the steps. These things were smoke damaged as well and I wanted everything factory as much as possible when she was done. There were all new ceiling lights purchased for install as the pieces of headlined dimensional wood go back in. A few new switches were also bought to replace ones that were smoke damaged. On top side I bought a new Dash panel insert that is common to crack if left uncovered in the sun, and all new topside carpet.
In answer to your other two questions the Boat was 99% fresh water use, but the one time it was in salt water was the day/evening of the accident which I was told was about 6hrs. It was completely flushed when it came out as he was very picky about Salt Water use as well.
Has all Canvas, even bumpers and bow holders. Some Isinglass needs buffed or refinished.
This is a project that has extreme potential but requires a captain with vision and some handyman skills. It looks ruff to the untrained eye but all the pieces are here. I have had an offer from a company in Cincinnati, Ohio that restores boats for customers, they quoted me 10k to put her back together. I got a personal loan of 50k when we bought the boat and have used all that up. It has been in a secure indoor storage building since we started. 30k for the boat, 8k for the trailer, 2k for cabinet rebuilding, about 4k in upholstery and 2.5k in essentials IE: upper carpet, electronics in the cabin, and accessories I mentioned I replaced. Then two years of part time labor with several very qualified people in the boat refitting trade. There is no more money needed to put her back to factory new, everything is purchased and boxed waiting, right down to each plastic fastener and screws. This would need not be a professional as it is a very easy process now. I had a time line of about 30 days in my mind to finish the project.
