Up for auction... is a Twin V8 Powered, fresh water only Sea Ray 280 (31' LOA) Sundancer express cruiser with a rare set of twin fuel injected V8 Mercruiser (GM) engines and twin Bravo 3 out-drives with Duel Stainless Steel Props. This boat is in excellent condition and has been meticulously maintained with an open checkbook. It was never in salt water of any kind for any length of time. It is also loaded with very nice options including a generator, windlass anchor, AC, Heat and much more.

Power ::

This fantastic boat is powered by two 5.0 Liter Mercruiser MPI engines with only 360 hours on each engine. They are backed by Bravo III duel polished stainless steel counter rotating propellers providing excellent traction in the water while eliminating steering torque. Both engines and outdrives are in excellent running condition. The outdrives and gimbal bearings were serviced in 2019 by a qualified and certified Sea Ray Mechanic. Both engines were pulled with cranes and all parts were the heavy duty replacement parts approved by Sea Ray and stronger than factory.

The Generator ::

Is a fuel injected Kohler 5kw and has been load tested and is in perfect working order.

The Bilge ::

Is also equipped with lighting, auto-fire suppression, dual batteries with switches and charger.

Deck ::

The deck area is very comfortable and is loaded with very nice features including a snap in/out carpet. The upholstery is in very good condition. The deck carpeting is removable and each of the three bimini tops has a very solid stainless steel frame. At the helm is tilt steering, Mercruiser Smart Craft gauges, controls for the windlass power anchor, remote search light and a swivel/bolster style captains chair providing additional leg room while standing at the helm. The deck has twin sinks, a faucet and ample storage under the sinks. The aft most seat can be lowered or removed for additional deck space and the mid deck seat converts into a sun or sleeping pad. Aft has a fresh water transom shower, stainless steel telescoping swim ladder and transom storage locker. The canvas mooring cover is in excellent condition and included.

Cabin ::

The cabin is also in excellent condition with beautiful, rich colors, wood grain trim and ice cold air conditioning with reverse heat for climate control. The upholstery is in like new condition. There are five open air hatches and a sliding window with screen for the aft cabin. It will sleep four adults and two children with two in the v-berth and two in the aft cabin and two mid-cabin comfortably. Both the forward and aft berths have privacy curtains. The galley consists of a sink with fresh pressure hot and cold water, corean top, microwave, stove, refrigerator, TV and VCR. The head consists of a vacu-flush head unit, sink with hot and cold pressure fresh water, shower.

Hull ::

The hull is in excellent condition with a beautiful clear luster. Updated Raised Chrome Badges. This is a clean hull with dealer installed bottom paint.

Recent Service (February 2019) ::

This boat was shipped to Charlotte, NC to a certified Factory trained Sea Ray specialist for a full gimbal bearing service. Both 5.0 engines were properly pulled with a crane for the service. The engines were tuned up, new cap and rotors, new plugs and wires, new impellers were also installed.
