condition: needs engine oil seal, other repairs may be needed, too. Some extra parts includedengine hours (total): 600length overall (LOA): 26.8make / manufacturer: Sea Raymodel name / number: Sundancerpropulsion type: poweryear manufactured: 1987This boat has had quite a lot of work done, including a complete professional motor rebuild in 2002. (all documentation available). About $12,000 was invested in this and other work at that time. It has about 600 hours of use, since then. The motor is a Mercruiser 454 Magnum V8 that runs very well. However, it is leaking oil from somewhere beneath the engine. I suspect it is a rear seal, but it may be an oil pan leak. I have not lifted the motor to check it, yet.THIS BOAT IS FULLY INSURED AND LOCATED AT THE NORTH END LOBSTER COOPERATIVE BOATYARD ON WESTPORT ISLAND, MAINEPRICE REDUCED FROM $3850 TO $2225. Pre season SALE to sell NOW. The boat is hauled up at the moment and I will be moving the boat shortly for the engine oil seal repair if it does not sell soon. When repaired and fully checked out, the price will increase to $6000. $2225 will take it, as is, where is, right now. As the season gets closer, the price will increase to $3850, as I prepare it for the repair.Reason for Selling: I have a sailboat now and do not have time or room to both. I have chosen to keep my sailboat at this time. The Alpha1 outdrive lower unit has about 500 hours of use. The upper unit is older has just been rebuilt and the Outdrive unit is ready for installation.Since the boat was leaking oil two summers ago, I did not use it very much and it has been in storage since that time. I checked the motor last Fall and it is all loose and ready to go. The last time I used it two years ago, it had good compression in all cylinders, burned no oil, and ran cool. It is very smooth and quiet and has plenty of power for demanding needs, although I tend to run it slowly so as to enjoy the water scenery and all to see on the Maine Coast. It does need an oil leak repair (likely a rear seal or maybe a leak in the pan, not sure). I have not attempted to repair that due to time constraints on my part.Overall, the boat is in pretty good shape. It is very seaworthy and will travel at about 22 or 23 knots, but I seldom go that fast. It comes with Funaro Radar, a marine radio and a fishfinder in addition to the usual accessories (lights, gauges, stereo, anchor, etc.) It also has shore power, a built-in battery charger, an alcohol stove for cruising and an electric stove for shore power. The refrigerator is electric and works both on battery power and shore power. It has full canvas/side curtains that are in pretty good shape, too, although one section has a 5" hole that could be easily repaired. The curtains have good transparent plastic and good mosquito netting. That 5" hole is not is a critical location and is easily repairable. The boat is equipped with an Orca Fresh Water cooling system with a dedicated raw water pump. This arrangement keeps all raw water out the motor while allowing the raw water to cool the outdrive, the manifold and the exhaust. Thanks for looking and let me know if you have any questions. I will increase the price if I decide to fix it up, but I will now let her go for $2225. It comes where is, as is, with jack stands included.
