Sea Ray Sport 180

It is a 2004 Sea Ray Sport that is in excellent condition! This Sea Ray Sport has very...very... low hours on it. It has navigation lights, boat cover, depth finder, radio, horn. Brand new tires with less than 20 miles on them. Installed a depth finder and ship to shore radio. It was purchased new here in Clearwater from the local Sea Ray distributor and serviced there. All the records are there for inspection. The Sea Ray dealer ship did a total service on the boat last year. Since then it has not been in the water. It is stored in our garage at all times. Never left out in the hot Florida weather. The seats and interior are all in perfect condition. Obviously perfect since we never used the boat much and it is stored in a dry garage all it's life!Typically, a boat under 18 feet will lift dramatically out of the hole before dropping onto plane. But the 180 barely tippes up before settling softly to a level ride, all in less than three seconds. Add in surprisingly deep bow seating, and this is clearly one of the safest bowriders under 20 feet!It's also solid, with no soft spots or rattles, which is credited to the all-fiberglass construction (no wood) and the injection of closed-cell foam to assist flotation and rigidity. Also that it lives in my garage out of the weather so it stays like brand new! Like more expensive Sea Rays, the 180 has a fiberglass liner and gelcoated storage compartments -- something you rarely find on a boat for this price. It is the Rolls Royce of the boating industry!The driver's seat is on a low pedestal and comfortable, so the view under the three-piece windshield is clear. Legroom isn't an issue because the helm base is hollow and the seat slides way back or swivels -- easily, without working it. Even when you slid the seat back, it won't impede the legroom at the corner seat next to the engine box. The in-floor ski locker is sizable, too, with room for ski stuff. The hatch stays up on a pressurized shock.The boat turns quickly, almost on itself, and it holds 2,400 rpm without corrections. At that speed the wakes are clean and narrow -- perfect for recreational water sports.You will be surprised at how quickly the 3.0-liter MerCruiser brings the Sea Ray Sport up to 30 mph.
