Up for sale is a classic SeaRay 260 Overnighter. 26ft by 8ft big solid cuddy cabin. I bought this a few years ago from the family who had it for a very long time. They just had the motor rebuilt and it had about 30 hours on it when I purchased it. We have used it 5 times in the past 3 years.Due to me working a constantly changingschedulewhich includes weekends and deployments, the boat spends its time just sitting. Any other free time is Scouts, soccer or school.I keep holding on to it thinking we will make time for it but it is just not happening.Craven County tax rate on this is $14,000, I am selling for less than half that.Registered until 2016.So, here we go with the details -It is a big solid machine, the sitting area is very nice for the age, has a seam coming apart on the wrap around sofa, it is not a tear in the material - easy fix.Has a sink in the sitting area, and a large underfloor storage area for the portable potty and gear.Behind the couch, under the powered sundeck is a full length storage area for the removable table and a place for your skis or more gear. The padded sundeck is huge, probably 6x8ft.Under it is the Big Block Chevy 454 (Mercruiser 454). Has dual batteries and a fire extinguisher system.Of course as with any boat I would recommend changing out the batteries. Has 50 gallons of Marine fuel in the gas tank with fuel stabilizer added. Two steps down into the cuddy area is arefrigerator, sink and alcohol stove (I haven't tried using them). The A/C unit works great !The V-Berth is a mini-sitting area or changes into a sleeping area. The material on the walls andceilingare spotted as you would expect in an old boat. Fully intact and not sagging but aged.Bottom has been scraped ofbarnacles but never got around to repainting it with hull paint. Outdrive was serviced with new fluids and resealed when motor was rebuilt.I sent the Quicksilver prop out to PropMD for a full rebuild, it looks awesome and hasn't even been mounted or used yet. What you need to do first of all; - I pulled off the water pump and installed a new impeller - then I got called out of the country and it never got re-installed. It is 4 bolts to mount it, two hoses and put on the belt pulley and you are done. I would recommend back-flushing the cooling system while this is pulled off anyway, as you would with any boat.Trailer is a 5Starr dual axle. Has brand new tires on it that another "buyer" had put on, then they pulled out of the sale. Some lights do not work - do not have time to mess with them; I have a set of magnetic lights that attach to the trailer with a 4-way flat harness so you have brake lights and turn signals.Comes with extension cord to plug into 110V, a bunch of life jackets, dock pillows,PLEASE READ - - - -This item is advertised and being sold "AS IS WHERE IT IS".If you do not have the funds, do not intend to buy, cannot or will not have this picked up, have issues with a used item, Please, Please - do not bid.Ask me if you need information. Relisting this is getting very expensive. Guys, please - if you have a question, please ask. This is a USED item, a boat nonetheless. Iguaranteeit will not be perfect. A lot of people are looking for something new, SeaRay will be very happy to sell you a new one or $95,000.Will need a good cleaning from sitting even though it is under a full size tarp, I promise.Clear title for boat, trailer came from SC and was never plated - comes with Certificate Of Origin from 5Starr Co. Just take it down to the DMV for plates.I should be able to duck out of work to meet you or the shipper but I will not have time to stick around as we are short staffed as it is at work. I cannot promise that, though. If I can't I will give you the code to the storage yard to access the gate.Boat is in James City NC, just over the river from New Bern, NC.Cash or Bank check from a large bank, will need to be cleared before item is released. No money orders or personal checks.Paypal for deposit.Thank You for looking !.
