Ill begin by stating that I am not an expert on boats in general and have limited knowledge on the history of this one. I will gladly answer any questions to the best of my ability and interested parties are welcome to personally inspecting the boat before making a bidding decision.
This boat was included with a home purchase that I made in the fall of 2013. At that time, the boat was in the water and was in full operational condition. It has since been parked on the trailer in the photo behind my garage. I do have a cover over it, but some debris from the tree have fallen into the last few feet of the boat.
The boat will need some cleaning after sitting there for more than 3 years. I did have someone knowledgeable about outboards come out to review the 200 hp Mercury engine. We did not try to actually run it with water flowing thru (as the gas in the boat is old and likely needs to be replaced first), but he did connect a battery to it and it did turn over which he said was a good sign.
I do have a clear FL title to the boat. It is a 1996 Sea Ray Laguna 21 (21 ft). If its of any value, the VIN is SERV2515K596. The engine I seem to recall had in the ballpark of 475 hours on it.
I can include the trailer, but dont have a chain of ownership document so you would not be able to register it for road use. Its old and is missing any kind of unique identifier (such as a serial number, etc.). The same person who tested the outboard indicated that the trailer would need some repairs for full use on the road. That said, there are a couple of boat ramp options within 1 mile or less of my home so you would only need to slowly drive it that far in order to be able to transfer it to your own trailer. The prop for it is stored in my garage and will be included.
I am selling it in as-is condition with no warranty or guarantee. I have listed this below fair market value for the boat and motor as there will be some TLC and mechanical maintenance work that needs to be performed (fluid changes, etc.) due to the time period that it has just been sitting there. I am open to reasonable, but not low ball, offers.
Feel free to call me directly with questions or to schedule a visit to inspect it. I live on the south side of Tampa just south of the Skyway bridge near the 75/275 junction. My mobile phone is phone.
