This boat was always fresh water lake used and is in good shape with the exception of needing some minor engine work. We found that it starts up and runs well but after it warms up it wont start until it cools down again. Sounds like possibly it is losing spark or some electrical issue. We only ran it on land and did not sea test the boat. We performed a compression test and all 4 cylinders have perfect compression (see pictures below ad). The other issue is the previous owner has it set up with no key. It has a toggle switch where the key was previously and you still start it on the dash with the red button. The toggle doesn't do anything now but the hour meter runs continuously when the battery switch is left on. It tallied up nearly 7500 hours on the meter before the battery went dead. You will need to replace it back to a key switch which may have something to do with the other problem. The lights, bilge pump and bilge blower all work but the stereo does not power up. The battery was new last July so should hold a charge well when re-charged.
Cosmetically it holds a shine and looks good. It would really shine up well with a good compound and wax job. The gel coat is in good shape is not faded badly. There are only a few age appropriate scratches and the decals look good. The decks are all firm but as shown in the photos the bottom of the front seats are coming apart. The upholstery is in otherwise very good shape. The bimini top looks to be recently new.
The traileris in good shape with the exception of the right sides broken leafs on the spring. It should be fixed before towing it. We can have it fixed for $125 additional to final bid price if needed. The tires hold air well and the bearings are fine. One of the tires has light dry rot (see pics) and should be replaced before a long trip. We towed this boat to our shop over 60 miles with no problems. The pictures are current and the boat is being sold as is in the condition shown. You are welcome to come to our shop and inspect the boat anytime prior to auctions end.
