STARBOARD ENGINE:1. Exhaust raiser mount to turbocharger missing mounting nut and rusted build up at turbocharger housing.
2. Inter-cooler cover have broken bolt.
3. Right rear engine mount is rusted.
4. Section exhaust hose have single clamp.
5. #6 exhaust port leak oil.
6. Cooling hose supply water to turbocharger is weak.
7. Engine coolant is weak.
GENERATOR:1. Expansion tank cap is corroded, cant open.
2. Air filter is dirty.
RECOMMENDATION:
PORT ENGINE:Engine was able to perform at full load rpm during sea trail. Oil pressure and temperature are operated within specification. Repair following lists to maintain factory recommendation.1. Investigate exhaust leak and repair exhaust leak at exhaust manifold area.
2. Clean corrosion and rust then apply corrosion block of right rear engine mount.
3. Repair oil leak at turbocharger oil drain tube.
4. Change cooling hose supply water to drive shaft seal.
5. Many cooling hoses on engine appear original, although no hose leak water during survey sea trail. Factory recommend change cooling hose every 7 years.
6. According oil analysis report engine and transmission contain high metal ware, there was no problem indicate during survey sea trail. Recommend change oil and filter and re-sample after 20 hours usage.
7. Schedule preventive maintenance service (change oil, filters and engine zincs.)
