Selling my 1989 Sea Ray EC390. I bought this boat in 2018 and it needed a lot of work. I will do my best to describe all areas of the boat, including upgrades and what I think still needs to be done. I'll start in the cabin.Forward Stateroom. Added a new custom mattress in 2019. Has been slept on one time. Has a nice size cedar closet, sink, and separate air conditioning. New carpet in 2019. The hatch in this room should be repaired or replaced. It does NOT leak, just needs hardware. I bought a used hatch on classifieds board, but I did not have time or skills to install. It measures about 3/8"-1/2" to long and I didn't want to undertake that project. The CO2 detector should be replaced. Just needs one of those battery operated types that mount on the wall. Head. Installed new carpet and new toilet in 2019. Installed a new shower pump (every water pump on the boat has been replaced), although I never used shower. Shower is separate from toilet and quite large compared to other boats. Toilet is vacu-flush typeBunk Room. New carpet. This room could use some thorough cleaning as there are a few stains in couple of areas. I cleaned with a carpet cleaner as well as I could, and stains are strictly cosmetic. Galley. New Vizio 32" smart TV. New DVD player. New bluetooth stereo and speakers installed. New microwave. New Frigidaire refrigerator. Electric stovetop. (I cannot say for sure it works, never used it) I also had the fresh water tank removed and replaced with an 80-gallon new plastic model and re-plumbed. Salon. New carpet. Everything else in very good shape. I also had an additional step installed coming down from the deck to the cabin. By adding the extra step, makes entry much easier. Helm Station. Has new Garmin chartplotter. There is a Garmin radar unit on the radar arch, but it is NOT wired to the chartplotter. Just left it there, I don't know if it works at all. I did not need it on the river. Windlass works. There are two gauges that should be replaced I think. The fuel gauge on starboard side has never worked and I just use the port side gauge and fuel is drawn from both tanks. Also, the tach on starboard side is inconsistent, works some time and some times not. New canvas helm station cover in 2020Stern Deck. There is a dock water connection as well as freshwater connection. I had rear canvas bimini made in 2020 as well as screens, so the entire deck area can be screened in. Engines. Twin big block 454's that are fuel injected. Misc: Hot water tank works and I had all new plumbing and fittings installed 2020. A/C blows cold and has been checked and serviced. Had both props pulled, rehabbed and polished 2020. Entire hull and forward deck detailed spring of 2020 with compound and waxed and buffed. All canvas good. I am selling this boat due to my age, I will be 72 next summer. I saw this model Sea Ray at the Cleveland Boat Show in 1988 and have wanted this boat ever since. Finally was able to buy it couple of years ago, with the intent of cruising it down the Ohio to the Mississippi and then down to the Gulf, but the realization of the time and expense to make that trip has finally hit. This boat has a lot of life and good times left in her and it's time for someone else to enjoy it. It's like a cottage on the water and more times than not, I would just go to the marina and climb aboard and listen to music, watch TV and just enjoy the water without leaving the slip. The boat is in the water now at marina in Aurora, IN. Please text or email with questions and if you would like to see in person. Please keep in mind that this is an older boat. It has a little wear and age. It is a very big boat. It is not a fast boat, so if you want to take kids tubing or skiing, this boat is not for you. It's for cruising and enjoying the features of staying aboard a boat.
