This Sea Ray 390 EC is currently located in the water at the Pier 39 Marina in San Francisco. The boat cannot stay in the marina after it takes new ownership. After the sale of the boat is completed, the new owner is responsible for removing the boat from the marina. This boat needs to be towed and hauled out for a new bottom paint job and engine work.I purchased the boat in 2005, it's last haul out was in 2008, and the last time the boat was operating was late 2011. The boat has not been moved or had the engines running for three years. The starter motor on the starboard motor failed and the batteries died preventing the boat from being started. The boat has been sitting in the water for too long. The motors seem to be seized but may just need to have the cranks manually turned to break the engines free. The bottom paint is in poor condition and has not been cleaned by a diver or had the zincs changed for one year.If someone has the time and money to fix this boat it can be used for many years to come.
The exterior is in good shape with no major damage, however it could probably use a new coat of paint to increase its luster. This boat is 40 feet long with a wide 13 foot berth. The canvas is in good shape with new hardware and canvas less than two years old.The interior is in excellent condition. The layout is unique, efficient, and spacious. The boat has a roomy yet cozy v-berth that sleeps two comfortably with a sink and a vanity. There is a mid-berth room on the starboard side with a bunk-bed that sleeps two. The bunk bed can be folded down into a couch as well. On the forward port side there is a bathroom with a perfectly functioning head unit with an accompanying stand up shower and a sink. In the salon there is an L shaped couch that can be pulled out to form a larger bed that can also sleep two. The galley is on the starboard side with a microwave, 3-burner electric stove, dual sink, and a new-ish refrigerator/freezer (2 years old). In the main cockpit there are engine controls and a Raytheon Radar that is fully functional. The aft deck is very roomy and great for entertaining.
All the electrical systems work nicely. The boat is equipped with dual 30amp shore power inputs to supply the AC systems on the boat. The boat also has alternate DC systems for the refrigerator and lighting while underway. There are fore and aft AC/Heating units. The generator is currently able to start on the DC power. This boat makes a comfortable live-aboard or a great cruiser for entertaining.Builder: Sea Ray
