Sea Ray 370 Sundancer

This 1998 Sea Ray Sundancer is in mint condition COSMETICALLY and as good as it gets. The photos of the boat were taken in March of 2019 so all the photos are good representations of the boat as it is TODAY! The only stock picture is the diagram outlining the interior that comes from the factory. The boat has been meticulously maintained and has had a tremendous amount of renovations done to it. IT IS POWERED WITH TWIN 454 7.4 EFI MERCRUISER ENGINES. HOWEVER, WE HAD THE BOAT SOLD AND DURING THE SEA TRIAL, QUITE A FEW THINGS WENT WRONG. THE STARBOARD ENGINE LEAKED OUT A TREMENDOUS AMOUNT OF OIL AND IT HAS A BAD KNOCKING NOISE AND MOSTLY EVERYONE AGREED THAT THE ROD BEARING IS BAD ( I can't be sure). THE COMPRESSION TEST WAS OK. They did a oil pressure test after adding oil and that came out ok too. HOWEVER, THERE ARE VARYING OPINIONS AS TO THE ENGINE NEEDING TO BE REPLACED OR REBUILT. THE STARBOARD ENGINE HAD ITS VALVE COVER GASKET AND LIFTERS REPLACED AFTER THE SEA TRIAL. THE PORT ENGINE SEEMS TO BE LEAKING FUEL THROUGH THE EXHAUST AND I WAS TOLD THAT THE FUEL INJECTORS MAY NEED TO BE REPLACED. THE SHAFT SEALS WERE LEAKING SUBSTANTIALLY WHILE UNDER FULL THROTTLE. THIS BOAT DOES HAVE AN EXTRA SEAL, BUT I WAS TOLD THAT IF YOU COULD USE THE EXISTING EXTRA SEAL IT WOULD BE A $880 LABOR PLUS ABOUT $500 FOR PULLOUT AND FEW DAYS IN THEIR WORK AREA. HOWEVER, IF YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE SEALS ENTIRELY, THEN IT WOULD COST $4400.00 PLUS PARTS PLUS THE $500 TO PULL OUT AND HAVE A COUPLE OF DAYS IN DRY DOCK. THE COMPARABLE SALES WHEN THE BOAT IS IN GOOD CONDITION ARE ANYWHERE FROM 60,000 TO 85,000. WE HAVE PERSONALLY LOOKED AT THE BOAT IN THE 65K RANGE, AND THEY CAN'T COMPARE COSMETICALLY AND HAVE NOT BEEN MAINTAINED LIKE THIS ONE. I HAVE THE SURVEY THAT THE BUYER HAD DONE JUST LAST WEEK THAT I CAN EMAIL TO ANY FUTURE BUYERS. IF YOU HAVE NO POSITIVES DO NOT BID UNTIL YOU TALK TO ME AS I AM LOOKING FOR REAL BIDS. You can sit 13 people comfortable on deck. Moreover, you can easily sit 8 people in the main cabin around the table. Two at the bar stools and at least 6 on the sofa. Also, in the one sleeping area where it can be converted into a conversation pit with additional seating as one of the pictures shows. This boat is extremely well maintained. A few unique features is that in the cockpit area there are USB plugs to charge your electronics, and the same goes for the cabin area.
