***** PLEASE VIEW THE 96 PHOTOS BELOW THIS AD******This is a NO RESERVE auction for a 1985 Sea Ray 340 Sedan Bridge with twin Mercruiser 454 (7.4Liter) straight inboards. This boat has one engine that needs work. We are selling this boat for a third party andour description is based on our visual observations during inspection and previous owners statements. We were told that the starboard engine is seized from sitting and that the port is in running condition. We did not power anything in the boat or check anything for operation. I would expect some things to work and some to need repair as with any boat that needs to be commissioned aftersitting for some years. We visited the boat on 6-6-17 and inspected. The port engine looks complete and found it to be winterized with non toxic antifreeze. Boat has about 550 hours according to hour meters. Starboard fuel tank replaced in 1996. Generator was removed after it failed and not replaced. The previous owner started to remove some hoses and such from the starboard engine to ready it for repair. The boat was put away 4 seasons ago and the owner passed away. The owners son tried to ready her for sale and found the engine to be seized from sitting or possibly a coolant/exhaust riser leak. Both engines are clean 454 engines with straight drive transmissions. Its not all taken apart or a mess. All the removed parts are in the cabin. We noticed that the Air conditioning looks new and the owners son stated that his father replaced both AC units just before passing away. Hydraulic steering works well and all running gear in good shape. No batteries included but equipped with dual battery system. This was a well kept boat by the looks of it. Thereare no electronics or cabin furniture
and the boat is being sold EXACTLY as shown with the equipment shown. The boat was equipped with a generator when new but was removed by the previous owner. Nice heavy duty anchor windlass with anchor and rode is all included. Please view all 96 photos below ad.
Cosmetically it is in good shape. The decks are all rock solid and we did walk the entire boat. Gelcoat is in good shape and will buff/wax to a nice original gloss.
