The open layout provides unfettered access, from the forward boarding ladder back to the extended swim platform on the transom. As might be expected with a boat this size, in-deck storage lockers are huge, and the passenger console opens to reveal a realistically sized head compartment, which has an opening porthole. Even more impressive is the compact cabin forward of the helm, which can convert to a full berth or provide a changing space with standing headroom. Order the gas grill and 12-volt refrigerator to complete the built-in wet bar andyou have all the comforts of home.

Comfort is just half of the 300s appeal. Crack the throttle and this boat becomes a whole lot more than a floating pleasure patio. We found the hull to be remarkably stable under way, even while reaching speeds of nearly 50 mph with the 496 Magnum 375 hp engine.

With crisp handling reminiscent of a smaller boat, and stable tracking that is minimally affected by weight shifts or chop, the 300 Sundeck is a boat thats as enjoyable to drive as it is to enjoy when hosting a party at rest.

Big and bold, the Sea Ray 300 Sundeck is loaded with amenities that are sure to keep any water-loving family happy. In fact, you might say this rig is large and in charge when it comes to on-the-water fun.

When folks step aboard Sea Rays 300 Sundeck, its sheer room will take them aback. At 29 feet, 6 inches in length and with an overwide 9-foot, 1-inch beam, the Sundeck provides plenty of space for people and gear. And with its luxurious amenities and sporty lines, boaters will live large and look good while doing it.

At the helm, instrumentation is minimal but complete, thanks to a multi-function SmartCraft display. A small berth beneath the helm console stretches forward under the starboard lounge. Across the way, a large head offers good interior space, though headroom is a bit low for 6-plus-footers. Cockpit seating features a starboard lounge and a wraparound bench, plus a rear- facing seat/sunpad that offers views of the swim platform.

When it comes to bowriders we all have some fond memories of a good day on the water but none of us have ever experienced a bow rider quite like this! The 300, Sea Rays biggest sundeck ever! The 296 length and 91 beam give the boat a solid big boat ride while still keeping to the nimble bow rider appeal.

The helm resembles that of a fine luxury car. Just opposite the helm is this neatly hidden private lockable enclosed head with sink making any day out on the water much more enjoyable for all aboard. The compartment is quite roomy and is nicely finished. Just aft of the head is a fore and aft facing double jump seat with the aft seat being perfect for a spotter to keep the captain informed.

The cockpit is perfect for entertaining thanks to the wet bar with an electric BBQ, a sink and faucet, trash receptacle, and a fridge beneath. The crew will be comfortable in the many cockpit lounge seats that stimulates conversation. Beneath the seating are large storage compartments for gear and lines.
