1986 Sea Ray 300 Sundancer
Here is a 1986 Sea Ray 300 Sundancer cruiser in very good condition for her age. The current owners purchased the boat in 2008 and have moored itat Fourwinds Marina (Bloomington, IN) in a covered slip for the pastsix years. NOTE: Fourwinds Marina is situated on Lake Monroe - an inland fresh-water reservoir. The boat's owner has kept a true focus on scheduling regular preventative maintenance on all the boat's systems and components, including annual winterization in the Fall and routine summarization in the Spring.
This Sea Ray would be perfect for someone looking for a bigger boat with more space and amenities or for someone who wants to upgrade to the unmatched quality of a Sea Ray. The 300 Sundancer is an impressive 30 feet long with a rare and very wide 11 foot beam. The main boat deck features an aft forward facing bench seat; two rear facing factory fold-down seats; and a double wide Captain's chair. The helm station includes full gauge instrumentation, power trim tabs, depth sounder and remote spot light. The boat has a navy blue bimini top, full canvas camper enclosure with eisenglass windows and built-in screens; and matching custom bow canvas cover. The swim platform has original teak inlays and a fold-down swim ladder.
The main interior cabin features a very roomy forward V-Berth; dinette that converts to a double berth; and another full double berth in the aft cabin. The galley comes equipped with sink; dual voltage AC/DC refrigerator; andstove top burners. Storage cabinets and compartments fill out the remainder of the galley area. The head in this Sea Ray is very roomy with sink, full shower, electric flush toilet and additional storage compartments. Extra electronics: 23" Flat screen TV in the main cabin plus a Clarion stereo with MP3 capability and new cabin and cockpit Memphis Marine speakers. The vessel is equipped with reverse cycle Heat - Air Conditioning; on-board AC converter (battery charger); hot water heater;fresh water system tank; and waste water holding tank.
The boat had complete outdrive service performed on both the upper and lower units in June 2012 - including new seals, gaskets and outdrive lube. Then, during the winter of 2013, the boat was pulled from the water to have a 3-stage color sand application performed on the gel coat -followed by a 4-step cut, buff, polish and final sealant applied to the gel coat.The new bottom anti-foulpaint that was applied in May 2008, is still in excellent condition.
The boat is powered by twin 260-HP Mercruiser 350 V8's. The engines only have about 970 hours. All components and systems work as they should - nothingis needed or required.
