Sea Ray 290 Sun Sport

This is a nice 2006 29 sun sport that was owned by a Doctor and was marina kept and maintained. The boat was waxed this year and the bottom was painted. Zincs replaces ect... The boat yard recommended replacing the manifolds and risers but the work was declined and on the boat's second trip out of the season it ingested water in the port engine. The rest of the boat is turn key. I have received a quote from the marina to replace the long block and do the manifolds and risers on both engines for $8700. I think it can be done for less somewhere else too. Before I commit to fix the boat I am trying to sell it as is. It is a really neat boat with two refrigerators and an innovative layout. It has a new garmin 740 with radar as well. The carpets were new in the cockpit last year and the vynal is in good shape. This boat will be a great deal for who ever buys it.Jay Goodwin
