Relisted with a lowered price due to a non paying classifieds board buyer. Sea Ray 290 SLX was the largest bow rider offered by Sea Ray back in 2006. This specific boat is a highly optioned version with the rare closed cooled twin Mercruiser 350 MPI Horizon engines producing 300 hp per side. Having the closed cooled system on the engines completely eliminates the interior deterioration of the engines caused by salt water. These motors are in excellent turnkey condition and will offer the next owner years of enjoyment on the water. The exhaust risers on both of the motors are brand new in 2019 and have about one hour of use. The engines are coupled to a pair of Bravo I drives with 4 blade stainless steel props. During our sea trial we reached top speeds of over 50 mph while the engines reached their rated top revolutions of 5000 rpm's. This boat is turnkey and ready for the summer. The engines show under 660 hours of run time straight from the ECM computers. The current NADA value for this boat is over $49,000.Not many bow riders offer the luxury amenities of this 290 SLX. This boat comes with ample seating for 10, a fully enclosed head compartment with a vacuflush head and a fresh water sink, a fresh water transom shower, sunbeds, a huge amount of storage, a wet bar with a refrigerator and a fresh water sink, ice bin, massive double bimini top shades, extremely comfortable Seadek decking on both the cockpit and bow areas as well as the swim platform. The captain can enjoy a virtually perfect helm and dash with Mercury SmartCraft instrumentation, Mercury Racing Zero Effort throttle and shift controls, steering wheel mounted stereo controls, upgraded Garmin GPS plotter, VHF radio etc etc. We have both of the tables and legs for the cockpit and the bow areas, all covers are there including the cockpit cover, bow cover, bimini tops and boots and the boat even comes with a separate helm cover.The boat does have older bottom paint as can be seen from the pictures, but it appears that the boat has never been kept in the water for any extended times as the drives have no bottom paint and still have the original Mercruiser black paint and decals in good condition. The trailer in the pictures is one of our shop trailers and not included or available with the sale. If a trailer is needed, we can assist finding one. This boat was ordered new with the radar arch delete option for a more budget friendly in/out storage cost. If the new owner wishes to store the boat at an in/out storage facility, the lower height due to not having a radar arch lowers the monthly cost significantly.The boat is sold as is where is with no warranties.
