Looking
for a Beautiful Cruiser for the family and friends? Look No Further! I
do not believe you will find a nicer one than this for the low reserve
price I have set on this boat! Please see all close up Pictures of
everything on this fine Vessel in the link below!*** Please Read ***This vessel has only been used in Lake Shore MD all of it's life. I'm going to get straight to the point on the condition of everything on the boat.*** Condition ***The
Condition of the exterior of this vessel is absolutely pristine! See
all pics. The Galley of this boat is also in Like new condition and was
hardly ever used! There are no noticeable carpet stains, No noticeable
stains on all the galley upholstery, all the upholstery in galley area
was always covered since new. There is NO mold inside this boat what so
ever! See pics. No leaks of any kind. All looks like brand new! I spent many hours with the previous owner going through everything to give you the exact details of this vessel. The
shrink wrap had just been removed just before I got there in MD on
5/27/21. I couldn't believe my eyes of the exterior when I was walking
around this boat! It was nearly in flawless condition. First thing I
looked for was any previous damage to the hull and the Stainless Rub
rail for any signs of hard impacts. Nothing! It was perfect. Extremely
rare! Not a ding in the Stainless rubrail or a noticeable scratch! Also
the boat had been dry stacked most of it's life. We just put a fresh
coat bottom paint on it to give a nice clean look. This
boat is very solid! It has never been roughed up, or been in the ocean.
All the cabinets are nice and tight, they all open and close just
like new. The fordeck on this boat is also very solid. I bring a
moisture meter with me where ever I go! The boat was winterized in the fall of 2019. Due to Covid it was never used throughout 2020 or the spring of 2021.He
had put a new cranking battery in just before I got there. The engine
would start for about 15-30 seconds then spit and sputter and shut down.
Tried several times and the same thing. I
asked him when was the last time he had put fuel in the boat. He said
the spring of 2019. I knew 2 year old fuel was Probably my cause. After talking
for a long time about his boat, they finally got the chance to loaded me up on to my trailer. Once
I seen the condition of everything, I was very happy! Which has been
extremely rare lately. I am very picky with a bit of OCD. I just needed
to get back to Wilmington and check on the fuel issue etc later. I
have all the original books and records for this boat. He was a older
Gentleman that owned the boat and saved everything. So much had been
updated or replaced with new over the past 4 years looking at records. Reading
one of the invoices, not only did the drive get replaced, they also
pulled the engine and replaced the upper drive shaft housing and U-joint
assembly. That is a good thing! They also did a great job cleaning up
the engine bay area.They
had also put the new style Control box and cable on the boat. Big Plus!
The older Mercury controls were a bit of a pain. The New style controls
are very smooth. Also the steering cable had been replaced as well. Other
things that have been replaced over the past couple years. The refrigerator
was replaced in 2017 and hasn't been used. Still has the tags on the
inside. The Microwave was replaced in 2016. All
the Canvas enclosures are in like new condition! The isinglass is all
crystal clear and not very old at all. In 2015 He also had a new cockpit
cover made for the boat. See pics. It's not a cheap one either. It is
very thick and well padded on the inside for all the hard points, with
the best vent system. Just over $2100The
boat also has a full windshield cover that looks like new. We also just
had the Bimini top replaced on the Stainless Steel frame. It's brand
new. in 2017 he had a new A/C pump installed along with a new sump pump. This
boat has a true Vacuflush Marine head. Not a gravity style foot pump or
hand pump. Just wanted to make that clear as some get confused. You
want Vacuflush! See Pics. The previous owner took very good care of this boat. He has spent north of 13k on this boat since 2015. Everything
works on this boat. All electrical systems. All the gauges are in
perfect working order. There is no moisture. there is only 617 hours on
the rig. There is no corrosion anywhere on this boat. All the metals are
not green or corroded what so ever. Same goes for everything else! See all in the very clear pictures in link below. Getting
back to the engine. I did a compression before looking into the fuel
issue. The compression on all 8 cylinders were as good as it gets! The
engine oil was extremely clean sitting right on the full mark. It was
changed when winterized by Marina in the fall of 2019. I
took off the fuel filter separator and put a new one on. I filled it
with fresh none ethanol fuel. Then I hit it with a little starting fluid
to get the fresh fuel following. It ran great! After about 5 min then it
started to spit and sputter and shut down. I took off the new fuel
filter and emptied it in a glass jar and already some water
present from the main tank. I repeated the process with a new fuel
filter water separator. Added more fresh fuel and started right up ran
for about 5-10 min and shut down again. My
Mechanic came over to take a look and said the fuel tank needed to be
drained and the Carburetor also needed to be cleaned or may need
to be rebuilt. We are just swamped in service right now. Also being short handed doesn't help. He could not
get to it until after the 4th of July sometime. If
you are, or someone you know who is mechanically inclined could fix this
problem. This is a very nice set up and much easier to work on than a
MPI engine where you have to deal with expensive fuel pumps, fuel
injectors etc. Some of these models also had twin 4.3 liter engines with
cheap Alpha One Outdrives. Performance was exactly the same. I have had
many of both in the model, and year. This boat will cruise at 30 MPH @
3400 RPM'S. Not to mention you have half the maintenance. Also you have a
lot more working room in the engine bay! There is just over 1/4 tank
of fuel in the boat. There
are a couple other things. The back rest along the transom will need
replacing. I do have it and can be used as a template. It needs new
backing and recovering. I personally would measure and use Seadek as a back rest.
But that is up to you. To have a new one made it will cost about $500.00
Probably half that using Seadek. The
large front drivers seat has some white tape on some of the seems. It's
fine, I would wait until winter to recover that. It's just on the
bottom. The backrest and top of the seat is in very good clean condition. I
do not have a problem with you hiring a Marine surveyor to back up any
claims I have made about this vessel. As a matter of fact I encourage
it as I have nothing to hide. I don't play games or act dumb. Like many others do.There
is a ton of good on this boat! Most listed like this need all above or
getting real close but never mention it! I know I have priced this boat
right! It's I
could go on and out about this beautiful rig! But much rather you give call
me for exact details about anything! I have spent many hours on this
boat. We
also recently buffed out the boat and also ceramic waxed the whole
boat. However the boat was already mint and had a decent nice shine. Please contact John at Carolina marine @ phoneI
