im selling my 2003 sea ray sundancer 280. the boat is 31 ft overall with a 9.6ft beam. my family and i have enjoyed, and are still enjoying this boat but its time to upgrade. i am the second owner and i bought it in 2010. the original owner bought it new from Bassett Marine in Rhode Island and had them maintain everything from new. the owner unfortunately became ill and was unable to use the boat anymore. it was winterized and wrappedfrom 2007-2010 when i bought it. It only had 40 hours and was barely used. now has still only 130. had been sitting when i bought it so i had the whole boat gone through and spent $8000 on the following: new riser and manifolds (they said they werent that bad but i did them anyways). the drives were completely gone through including all new bellows, senders, water pumps and impellars as well as having the stainless props refinished and tuned. it has a full camper inclosure in which i had all the glass panels replaced and to this day have only used them maybe twice and they still look new and clear. in addition to the camper top, i had a full mooring/cockpit cover made that isused whenever the boat is not in use. due to that the condition of the seating is extremely clean and has no rips stains or tears. the cabin is in the same condition, barely used. other mechanical things done were a new hot water heater, new battery charger and a full tune up of both motors was done in may of this year including plugs, wires, cap, rotor and of course all fluids changed. all lights have been changed to new led bulbs(cabin and cockpit are soft white and the radar arch is blue which looks great at night. the old analog tv was replaced with a new lcd flat panel with built in dvd along with a new hd antenna. it has garmin gps and i also added the 10" subwoofer . i cant express how clean and mechanically sound this boat is, with one exception. the spotlight works but only goes up and down not left to right. i havent even looked into fixing it cause i only used it once and i prefer a handheld. Sea Rays are by fartop of the line as far as quality and im looking for a bigger one. i love this boat and hate to see it go but we want to go bigger. i listed the boat in the fall of 2012 with a broker and contacted him again this time. he would list the boat at $49000. i want to take a chance and sell it myself to save over $4000 in comissions and im prepared to sell it for a fair price. ONLY 130 hours!!! risers and manifoldsdone!!! TURN KEY!!! any questions just ask thought i had more pics but its the same as every other 280 from 2001-2007 if you need pics. the boat is in the water and is still being used . sea trials and surveys for serios buyers can be set up. hours on the motors are subject to change THE BOAT IS SCHEDUELED TO BE HAULED OUT ON SEPT 30TH ACT QUICK
