Sea Ray 270 Weekender

Last fall we bought a really nice 93 Sea Ray 270 Weekender. After a short sea trial, inspection by a friend and clean boatfax we took her home and put her in storage. I drained the block, pulled the water hoses and drained everything else I could. I didn't know to shove something into the petcock to make sure there was no blockage.

First time out this summer she overheated so I shut her down and had her towed in.

I had the seawater pump rebuilt new elbows and all new rubber exhaust partsinstalled. That is when the mechanic noticed the cracked block.

Now I have a nice Sea Ray with less than 80 total hours on it with A 7.4L Mercruiser and Bravo outdrive. Windlass, dual batteries with switch, two shore power outlets hot water tank, pump out head with shower, battery charger, depth and fish finder, elec/gas range and fridge, manuals, two tops in excellent condition, fenders, cockpit cover, cd stereo and an aluminum ez loader trailer. Too much to list. It just needs a new shortblock. Please remember that this is a 1993 Sea Ray. It is in great condition for being over 20 years old but it is not perfect. There is a stain in the interior headliner on the starboard side where the dock light leaked at some point. The light was removed and sealed and the stain has been scrubbed and cleaned but is still visible. The carpet looks nice and isvery presentable. There are no holes or wear spots oranything like that, nor is it stained. The small patch at the bottom of the stairs could be replaced as it is not as good as the restof the carpet but it is still in good shape. I am trying to do my best to describe the condition of the boat. The boat has a title even though Colorado does not title boats. I have all necessary paperwork on the trailer to get a titlebut no title. It is being thrown in at no charge. As I cannot provide a warranty, I will invite a winning bidder to inspect the boat. If it is not as described, which doesn't mean you don't like it, just that I haven't described it accurately then the buyer has an option to walk away. I have located the correct block for the boat so I will list again for 3 days only. If it doesn't sell, I have a winter projecy. If it does, the buyer will get contact information for the engine.
