Relisted because previous buyer lives in Sweden and did not realize shipping cost would be more than the value of the boat. Relisted again due to buyer who was not able to get a trailer. Please, if you are going to bid have a plan in place to get the boat.I purchased this boat two years ago from a neighbor who had moved to Galveston anddidn't have room in their boat lift for this 10' wide boat. The boat had been in Canada in fresh water until two years ago when they brought it down. Great boat with lots of room for the family. We took the boat to Port Aransas last year from Galveston which is a 160 mile one way trip. We had nine people on the boat and the trip took about 9 hours total.Interior was updated recently and looks nice. We added a Sony stereo that has bluetooth to connect to your phone and installed USB charging ports at the helm and in the galley. Stereo is connected to a 10 disc Sony CD changer and amplifier. I have all tops for the boat, including the camper canvas. Not shown is a propane grill that mounts to the back of the boat and the cockpit cover.Service - Replaced right outdrive complete with new mercruiser part two years ago. All bellows, shift cables and seals were replaced on both engines at that time. Replaced bilge blower and mercathodic system last year.Bottom paint was done two years ago and touched up last year when I hauled the boat to clean the bottom. Both tachometers replaced. I replaced battery charger with a three bank maintenance charger this year. All three batteries less than two years old. Both engines have just had spark plugs replacedand the exhaust manifold was replaced on the right side of the port engine. The starboard engine is not picking up water from the outdrive mounted pump and needs to be replaced. Both engines run great. We usually run about 3200 rpms for 22 knots with a full load. Boat isdrivable, but with the starboard engine needing a water pump I am unable to run that one engine. Boat can be hauled at Payco Marine in Galveston which is about 3 miles from my house. Bottom needs to be cleaned and water pump changed at that time. The pictures were all taken last week with the exception of the one with the camper canvas. The new outdrive is in great shape. The port side outdrive works fine but is in fair condition. They both need to be cleaned as they have marine growth on them. I really can't get a picture that would tell you anything useful while the boat is in the water. This boat has been in salt water, so the outdrives have all been coated with the special paint for outdrives. I paid over $13000 for this boat two years ago. After I bought it I spent $6000 to bottom paint, replace bellows, shifts cables and strip and coat all outdrives. The following year I put a mercuiser brand complete outdrive on it, the cost of that was over $6,000. My mechanic does not care for the aftermarket mercuiser parts, so that is why we used a mercuiser brand. Not sure I would do that again. You will be buying at a big discount, but understand there is work to be done. I don't have time to haul, clean and fix water pump. The boat is 27 years old, so be advised that things can and will break. I am okay with a deposit and keeping the boat while you find a trailer. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. We are sellingbecause we bought a smaller Sea Ray. Boat can be seen in Galveston and is located at my dock at my house. Thanks for lookingOn Jul-11-15 at 09:07:59 PDT, seller added the following information:
A fewmore things:
The Standard Horizon GPS in the pictures does not work. Not sure what happened, but I turned it on and the screen is blank. I have a Garmin 498 Color chartplotter/fish finder I will include with the boat. There is a central vacuum system in the boat. I know it sounds ridiculous for a boat this small, but it is really convenient.Boat has trim tabs. On Jul-13-15 at 08:39:13 PDT, seller added the following information:
I assume the engines are the original engines. If that is correct the hour meters show roughly 1600 and 1000. That being said, I really don't know for sure due to the age of the boat.Remember you are bidding on a 28 year old boat. The boat is in good condition but it will need maintenance and upkeep to keep it going.

I was asked about a generator or ac and about any rot or soft spots. It never did have ac or a generator. The panel on all of them had provisions for both ac and generator. Not much room to put a generator in the engine compartment. I have seen some of the 270s with ac, but not generator.I have not noticed any soft spots or rot in the fiberglass or decking. Until coming to Galveston two years ago from Canada this boat was pulled every winter and dry stored. So it didn't spend much time in the water every year.It is overdue to be pulled and cleaned and scraped. I had the boat hauled last year and cleaned the bottom and outdrives. It did spend most of this winter on a boat lift, but has been in the water for the past three months.Kevin
