This is a no reserve auction is fora1987 Sea ray 270 that will need a lot of cleaning up and possibly some other work.It is being sold as-is needing work. This boat has been in storage since the 2013 boating season. It is powered by twin fresh water cooled Mercruiser 3.7 liter 4 cylinder I/O's. The previous owner stated that it ran when put away but will need work to be seaworthy again. The engines both turn by hand but we did not try to start them. We hooked up a jumper battery and many accessories power up. The VHF radio, anchor windlass, power trim/tilt, bilge blower, wipers motors, interior power vents and a few other things power up. We did not test everything but noticed these items powered up when we hooked power to one of the three battery connections. There are three battery locations with selector switchbut only one battery is installed currently. The outdrives shift into gear and the props and zincs look newer.
Cosmetically it has good original gel coat that would benefit from a buff/wax. The decks are all rock solid on the entire boat. The boat has not been covered and the cockpit upholstery is rotting in most parts. The interior had rain water enter through the cabin door entry way and it flooded the aft cabin. The water was about 6 inches deep in the aft cabin only and did not go into the galley or forward sections. The water was pumped out but there are stains and a lot of mildew (see pictures). Theaft cabin cushionsare included but they have no covers (under boat in pictures). They consist of just the foam parts which need new covers. The v berth cushions were previously re covered by the previous owner(see pics). The interior will need a good clean up to say the least. It is however very large andhas a great lay-out. Please view the 130 large pictures belowthis ad to judge the condition yourself. If you are local we encourage you to inspect the boat in person.
