Sea Ray

Here is a nice 1979 Sea Ray 240

It has an antifreeze cooled 383 stroker engine with roller marine cam, forged flat pistons, hi performance heads, Holley 850 double pumper and EMI Thunder exhaust system with dual silencer. It has a Bravo three outdrive with 26 pitch props. The engine was rebuilt last year and the lower unit replaced about a month ago. It is an old boat, so dont expect to see new shiny paint and there is always room for improvement as with any old boat. But it does have a very nice power system, ready to provide years of fun. Im not into fishing much, but I love cruising around in this boat navigating it from the upper station. This is not a speed boat, but it will get to 50+ and cruises around 30 to 35 Mph at 3700 RPMs. It is a heavy 24 boat so it handles the water very nicely. The boat has a fresh water system, shore power connection, battery charger, two new batteries, a small fridge, porta potty, all LED lights and everything works. It does have a small AC unit, but I've never used it so I don't know if it works or not.It is also equipped with three fuel tanks, an 83 gallons keel tank, two 16 gallons aft tanks and individual fuel pumps for each tank. I have all the specifications of the engine parts that were used. I still use this boat occasionally during weekends in the St Petersburg, FL area, so it may be possible to make an arrangement if you are interested and would like to see the boat.
