Up for auction is a pre-owned 1984 sea ray sundance 270. I acquired the boat 1 1/2 years ago and honestly I don't know anything about boats and have not had to time to use it all. I think it's best for me to cut my losses and sell to someone who knows about boats. Since I have owned the boat, I had all the oil and fluids changed, installed 2 brand new batteries, cables, wires, spark plug, sensors, thermostats changed among a few other things. Both engines fired up last season and I only used it for a little while in the canal near the marina where it is stored at. Boat was winterized last season before winter, and this year when I went to fire it up, only one engine started, but the other starts and shuts off. I don't know what it could be at the moment. I cannot continue to pay for storage, and repairs since its become to much of an expense for me. I've done some research on these boats and they still go for a nice buck. I would say if you know about boats, here's your chance to own one at a fraction of the cost. The boat has 2 motors 4.3L mercruiser V6's, boat has a 10ft beam. The boat will need some TLC, the boat came with a trailer when I got it, however I was later told the trailer is small for a boat this size. So i had it transported to a local marina near midway airport in Chicago. I have videos of the boat running, and also from this year. If you purchase to boat I will throw in a tandem trailer i got with it. However I would recommend having it transported to your local marina, unless you have a bigger trailer for it.The boat also has a generator on it, the AC unit works, all electrical items work such as the gps, all lights and the TV, the radio and speakers. It's a clean boat considering its an 1984. I NEED B0AT GONE THIS MONTH. I cannot afford to keep paying storage fees for something I don't use or have time for. Boat is being sold AS-IS. both boat and trailer that comes with the boat have clean titles.Let me know if you have any questions, or concerns. Happy bidding and good luck!! I can be reached at phone ask for Jorge.
