Up for sale is thisSea ray 220 Signature Series that suffered a partial submersion and was never properly addressed before being stored. The vessel sunk to the stern approximately 5 years ago and neitherthe engine or mechanicalswere serviced following therefloating and storage. The boat was stored for a number of years with shrink wrap and then it's own canvasfollowing the deterioration of the wrap. The hull is faded,she will need a complete engine package, and the interior in dirty but it is an awesome family cruiser, ski, or just hanging out boat. Seven years ago I owned the boat and my family had loads of fun on her and then we sold it to another guy when it suffered the sinking and I bought it back. after refloating thevessel did not leak a drop so it was never determined why she went down and that was part of the reason for the extended storage. I do not have the time to fix her up so she is up for sale. There is NOreserve and the starting bid is very low because we want to move this Sea Ray.
HULL:The hull is in good condition with the normal scrapes and dings that would be expected ona hull of this vintage. None of the observed scrapes affect the integrity or performance of the hull. The gel coat is faded but in the pic of theport aft corner you will see I compounded and waxed the green from the stern up to the Sea Ray name and it came backvery nice. The bottom has anti fouling.

TOPSIDE:The topsides are in good condition. Most of the topsideareas are a bitdirty from storage but have no significantfiberglass damage. There are a number of hatches and doors on the decks that are in place and in good working order. The welded stainless steel bow rail is in good shape without breaksbut a few minorbends.

COCKPIT:The cockpit area is weathered and dirty but should come back with a good cleaning. The white upholstery has a few cracks from weathering but is still in good serviceable condition. In the forward cockpit there appears to be some wood deterioration in the seat backs. The carpet could use a good cleaning and there are a few soft spots in the deck in front of the engine box and around the edge of the ski locker. The instrument paned did NOT get wet in the submersion so all of that should still be in working order. All in all a good cleaning is in order and some minor wood work on a few deck areas.

ENGINE & COMPONENTS:The motor is a 5.7 GM 350 Cubic inch Mercruiser that is original to the boat. The hour meter only has 191 hours showing which is unfortunate since the engine appears to be unsalvageable. The intermediate housing and outdrive appear in good condition and should be usable following an engine installation.

OTHER ITEMS:This vessel has a canvas package custom made of Sunbrella material. The package includes a stand up bimini top with curtains all around and a clear section for above the windshield. Unfortunately the canvas is in poor condition but it is included to use as a pattern for replacement. .

Trailer:The trailer pictured is NOT INCLUDED in this auction however if the buyer wants I would sell it for an additional $450.00. This trailer is a galvanized, dual axel, easy loader type, trailer. The tires are in poor conditionbut I will have the bearings serviced. There are single axel brakes but they are not in working order. The lightswill bein working condition. This is a solid trailer that has some issues.The trailer has always been used as a "local trailer" traveling less than two miles each season.
This vessel is NOT in "Ready to Go" conditionbut is a super value when you consider you are buying a Sea ray Signature Series which is the high end of the Sea Ray line up.
