I have owned this boat twice and both times it's been the best boat we've ever had. I traded it for a 32' cruiser and then 3 years later I traded the cruiser back to the guy I traded with the first time. I've been a boater for 35 years and LOVE to be on the water. I have spent the last 12 months updating this boat to make it exactly what I want it to be. If you're looking for a boat that needs absolutely nothing and has been brought up to 2013 standards/appearance, then you found your next boat! 600 hours since new, the engine uses no oil and runs perfect. Hours don't kill marine engines, water ingestion and freeze damage does. This boat has new risers and manifolds on it. I mainly changed them to change the gaskets...which is where they most often fail. The Alpha outdrive was rebuilt 100 hours ago by my local marina. You might be asking or wondering why someone would spend lots of money updating an older boat when for what I have in it I could have bought a VERY NICE newer boat. I simply couldn't find anything with the cockpit space and features this boat offers. With two families of four this boat has plenty of room for everyone with room to spare. Hanging out on the platform there is so much room for lounging and swimming. The swim ladder has 5 rungs making it very easy to get out of the water. I'm including everything in the boat. probably 12 life jackets, throwable floatation, 2 fire extinguishers, tool kit, spare SS prop, hand flares, flare gun, Delta anchor...everything ready to go.
So for the updates we just did. Last winter this boat underwent an extensive cosmetic refresh and update. I had the bottom barrier coated and painted so we could leave it in the water long term. Prior to that this boat has been dry stack or trailer stored, so it's basically been in the water for about 5 months now. We added new Lenco trim tabs with switch and indicators, underwater LED lights, extended swim platform by swimplatforms.com, indirect LED lighting in the cockpit, LED nav an anchor lights, Lowrance Elite 5 DSI w/HD transducer, custom instrument panel with new gauges, back lit accessory switches, WINDLESS ANCHOR WINCH, push button starting, pump out potty in cabin, shore power with battery charger. The interior was just completed in black and white. The stripes were originally red, but I wanted to change that to black and white. We had the 220CC sticker and the name color changed as well to match. There's been more money spent on this boat in the past 12 months than I'm asking for the boat now. The only reason I'm selling this boat is that we want a 35 to 40 foot cruiser. We will miss this boat but I'm ready to spend days on the hook in a cove or at the slip.It comes with a 10,000 pound capacity Shoreline galvanized aluminum trailer with LED lights, new winch in excellent condition! Call me or text me or text me at phone with questions or offers. I'm listing this boat locally and the terms are first come first serve. If you hit the buy it now tab and agree to buy it, you will have to send me a $500 non-refundable deposit with the balance due in 5 days. Someone is going to get a really great boat!
