For auction is a 1987 Sea Ray Sorrento Bowrider with a V8 Alpha-One Mercruiser Engine Inboard/Outboard. It has a working onboard Halon system that automatically distributes halon into engine compartment if there is ever an engine fire. Many amenities like a fold-up table, a sink in lower glove compartment, several pair and single water skis, a huge 2 person heavy duty float that is newer, depth-finder in cockpit, new tires and rims (10 miles total on them from 5 years ago, but boat was stored the past 4 years), and very low hours on the motor! The galvanized EZLoader trailer has a brand new rear tandem axle and the front one should be replaced sometime within a few years to make the galvanized trailer like new (2nd axle and hardware is about $300.00). The V-hull is extremely clean and solid. The engine was just started up (after 4 years from storage and proper winterizing and fogging engine) sounds great and is quiet, low hours (see pic of meter) and does not take any oil. The water-pump may eventually need to be replaced ($28.00 on Amazon) as it stays cool while moving, but tends to climb in temperature at a lengthy idle. The brake shoes and cylinders are new, but I did not hook up the brake lines to the union since replacing rear axle. You can tow it home as is, but should attach brake lines and bleed brakes before going on a boating trip. The trailer ball hitch is a hydraulic brake system (Titan model 60zx7000, 7000 lb 2 inch and 1 7/8 ball receiver) and it is newer (replaced 5 years ago, but did not use boat in last 4 years). Clear title on both the boat and trailer. Seats are nice and soft. On current prop, it goes about 35 miles an hour, plenty of speed for water-skiing! Anchor included in front stowage in front of bowrider area. There is also a newer canvas Bimini top with frame (sits high for shade), and another frame with shade canvas that attaches to top of windshield and extends over front seat area. That canvas on second mentioned top canvas is worn at the back frame edge (as it took a beating under a tarp cover for 4 years of wind) and needs residual patching/reinforcing of canvas at that back frame edge.The bad:The only thing that isn't great on this boat is that the very decent carpeted flooring has a few soft spots below it in the marine plywood decking floor, that if you want to use it for a few years before replacing/repairing it, I would recommend cutting a few pieces of pressure treated plywood and place over center area that frames the teak wood pull-up floor (the teak is very solid, the framing for it in the plywood floor surface is not). The other soft spot is in the rear driver side side between back and seat behind driver seat in one strip about 6 inches wide between seat positions on floor. I would also recommend cutting a small piece of plywood and keeping it on top of that area and you will not have any issues walking around for the next few years until you repair/replace floor wood.I have been on classifieds board a long time (since 1999), and don't sell much, but I am honest in my business practices as you see in my ratings. I can start up engine for you when you pick-up the boat, you will see that it is a very smooth and quiet engine. The outboard side goes up and down as it should by a button on the throttle. The battery is not included, it belongs to my camper!This is for local pick-up only (no shipping). Remember, the brakes are new, but brake lines are not hooked up. On dry roads, a full size pickup and with reasonable care, you shouldn't have a problem getting it home. For $300 more, I will attach and bleed the brake lines, but I really don't have the time to do work on the boat as that is why I am willing to sell it for at a low auction start price. Thank you!
