Sea Ray 185

Up for sale is a 1977 Sea Ray 185. It is 17 foot (16ft 8 in) and comes with a trailer with working lights. Engine is a GM 250 inline 6, rated for 165HP. Plenty to pull tubes and skiers. Seating for 6 and two of the seats fold out into layout beds. Some storage is available in the center of the floor, the front bow, and under the dashboard area. Deep glove box holds flares, first aid kit, and documents, plus pocket items and locks with a separate key than the ignition key. There is a fire extinguisher under the dashboard and a built in cooler in one of the rear seats that drains down to the bilge pump when unplugged. All driving lights work as do the bilge, horn, wiper, exhaust fan, etc. Boat is clean for its age, carpet and seats have areas of normal wear such as seat corners and main walking area. Fiberglass body looks good, no scum lines, etc. Has a JVC CD player/ AM/FM. It is mounted under the dash and you can play CD' s or would need to run an antenna to it. Hooked up to two marine grade 6.5 speakers. One in front and one in back. Anchor in front storage area. Mercruiser alpha one outdrive had the impeller replaced last summer, which is a bi-annual maintenance. Alternator replaced last year due to the old one failing. The boat also has hydraulic stabilizers in the back for improved ride quality on choppy water, very nice! There is a small teak platform on back with fold down ladder to get in and out of the water. Has only been run on fresh water lakes. Very easy boat to work on being an inboard motor. Comes with a boat cover that is trailerable. Trailer pulls very nice. Boat works just fine, only selling due to lack of use and wanting a camper trailer. I'm in the North Muskegon, MI area and can meet within reasonable distances.
