Take a look at this beautiful 2003 Sea Ray 182 SRX Sport Edition Bowrider powered by a Mercruiser 4.3L V6 I/O and sitting on a near perfect single axle galvanized trailer.Mechanical:When it comes to choosing the best I/O powertrain on the market you definitely look no further than Mercruiser because they are well known for reliability and low cost of ownership. This Mercruiser motor is sure to please you with only 170 hrs and it shows as it's been well maintained through the years. The 4.3L V6 engine propels this lightweight 19' boat through the water like a rocketship producing 190HP and runs flawlessly. Upon inspection we found the motor to have perfect 140-145 PSI compression on all 6 cylinders. The carburetor just received a fresh fuel system flush and is tuned perfectly for worry free starting everytime. The lower unit was pulled by us as we heard a slight noise during initial inspection. Once removed we found the gimbal bearing needed to be replaced which we did , then we finished off the service with new lower unit fluid and a new impeller. The engine oil has been recently changed and all other fluids have been topped off. The manifolds and risers are in perfect condition as they were replaced within the 18 mths and have no leaks or signs of gasket wear. Also seen in the pictures is a aftermarket engine flushing system was installed by the original owner as he wanted to make sure the boat got flushed after each use. The batteries were due to be replaced and we installed 2 brand new marine deep cell batteries in the boat as pictured. All other features work perfectly to include gauges, trim and tilt, Lorance system, blower motor, bilge pump, lights, and stereo. The only item needing replaced in the near future is the speakers as they didn't sound real clear when we inspected it. Lastly , this boat is equipped with a Mercruiser OEM push button starting system that will allow you to start the boat with a 4 digit code even if the keys aren't in the ignition. This was a $1,250 upgrade when bought brand new and you usually only find this on much larger high end boats. Overall, this boat is in great mechanical condition and will give you many years of worry free boating with standard maintenance. Cosmetic:Take a quick look through the pictures and they will answer real quickly how this boat was maintained throughout the years ! This boat has been lift kept its entire life as you can see the hull shows no signs of being left in the water and no bottom paint has ever been applied. The gelcoat shows very well with the freshly compounded, buffed, and wax treatment we gave this vessel upon arrival. The hull shows very few blemishes and the only notable dock rash is a 1" spot on the right rear than has been repaired with marine tex. The graphics look great and aren't peeling and the rub rails are in great condition. On the inside the vinyl seats are almost in near mint condition along with the carpet showing very little wear/stains. The boat has all the original canvas to include the full cockpit and bow area which was obviously always used as the seats have not been open to the elements. The boat also comes with a full bimini top which has a storage bag when not being used or transported. Overall you would be hard pressed to find fault with anything cosmetically on this boat and is one the cleanest ones of this age we have ever had the pleasure of selling.Trailer:Included with the sale of this boat is the pictured Galvanized single axle trailer that is in above average condition. Upon inspecting the trailer we found the tires has dry rot so the first thing we did was put Brand New rims and tires n it. The bearings were freshly packed with grease and we found all the lighting to work.
