Up for grabs is my beloved double boat trailer. About 5 years ago, I "struggled" with the fact I couldn't bring my jetski and my boat together. I looked all over the internet to find a double boat trailer, but there was one manufacturer in California (I'm in NY) and the trailer/shipping alone would be about $25k. I reached out to a trailer fabricator in NY and one year later, I had my dream. The boat is a Sea Doo Eutopia 18.5 that has been wrapped. (Yes, I wrapped the boat, EVERYONE asks what it is), with a 1200 watt stereo added. The Jet Ski is a Kawasaki 310 LX that has been chipped and pully'ed to 375 hp. The jet ski is INSANE. It has a full RIVA exhaust, custom ECU, impeller, fill kit etc. Save for a double 454 cigarette boat, nothing can beat me on the water. It also sounds like two chains saws fighting in a dryer and then a machine gun when you hit redline. (People turn around when I start it).The Good:One of a kind set up, NOTHING gets more comments at the gas pump or boat launch or guys in pickups getting their cell phones out. The set up works well. If you just want to launch the boat, you do that, and the jet ski stays mostly out of the water. If you want to launch the jets ski, leave the boat strapped in (don't forget the stern plugs!) until the trailer "floats" (you notice it start to move sideways) and then you can launch the jet ski, and pull the boat back out. Be the only guy east of the Mississippi that can has a double boat trailer like this... Both boats and trailer have clean titles. The Bad:Last year, I made a sacrifice to the speed Kawasaki Gods. (The jetski, not the boat) We tweaked the boost just a little too much and blew a hole out the bottom end of the engine. While the engine is complete (with only 5 hours on a new supercharger), it has a hole in its crank case, and therefore, DOES NOT RUN. You can find used motors on E-Bay, both NA and supercharged, so drop in a crate motor, and you're good to go.The Eutopia had an alarm go off when I was making the sale video last month. According to the forums, it is overheating (unlikely), an oil sensor (likely) or an ECU failure (unlikely). It starts right up, runs to 2k exactly all day (and will on the hose in the driveway) no problem. It will throttle up hard and run well, but an alarm will go off over 2,000 rpm. I will take it out again and try to diagnosis it it the set up doesn't sell this round.ALL SOLD AS IS! I will upload more photos (interior), motor etc, and videos of boat running soon, I just wanted to get this up while we still have summer in CNY.Why am I selling my beloved rig? I saw a Chris Craft Corsair 28 blast by me...and I need a down payment. I can't get that boat out of my head.Ask questions!!!!If boat does not meet reserve, I might replace my JLs with the OEM speakers, but might entertain second chance offers. I won't reveal reserve, but it's less than 10 grand. Trailer alone is $25k new...Both boats are around 10 years old, so there's definitely some wear and tear.
