2000 Sea Doo Sportster 1800
Captain's Report
THIS BOAT HAS A BRAND NEW ENGINE PROFESSIONALLY INSTALLED BY SEA DOO FACTORY CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS.
In the summer of 2013 our oil pump quit working north of Kelleys Island on Lake Erie. We did not notice as the audible alarm was not heard. The engine blew due to the 2-cycle oil pump failure. A friend towed us back and I took the boat home. I looked at many options to get us back on the water and chose to put a brand new engine in the boat in the winter of 2013-2014 so we would be ready for the 2015 season.
BRAND NEW MERCURY 210HP ENGINE INSTALLED and BROKEN-IN EXACTLY TO FACTORY REQUIREMENTS. Cost was $7k installed. This boat runs like new. Less than 20 hours on brand new engine.
OPTION: I had the oil pump bypassed to avoid the same failure and this boat now screams safely across the water with premixed fuel that is simple and reassuring.
We used it for the 2015 season then did not get it out last year or this year because our kids were grown and the boat is too fast and sporty for my wife.
She draws only 12 inches! The SeaDoo Sportster 1800 is fully loaded with an AM/FM stereo with CD player and 12-volt jack for your cell phone. Theres also a built-in cooler above the console to hold a six-pack of your favorite drinks. A large ski locker in the cockpit sole is big enough for two skis or a wakeboard. Sea-Doo has created incredible room on this 19-foot, 9-inch boat. Her bucket seats are a real neat feature and they will not only keep you in place in tight turns, but they are also comfortable. With room for eight people, you can invite all your friends aboard this versatile platform. Another plus to the SeaDoo 1800 is the rock solid Mercury 210hp V6 engine. These engines were developed by Mercury especially for Sea-Doo, and have over-rev protection. The mixed-flow, high-volume jet pump gives the boat excellent acceleration. Theres also a hydro-surge intake grate on the bottom of the boat to keep weeds out of the impeller. The SeaDoo 1800 has 20 degrees of deadrise at the transom, which gives you the best ride possible in chop. A quick hole-shot of 1.9 seconds cranks anything you want to tow straight out of the water. Its 2,100 lbs. is heavy enough for breaking through waves, but it doesnt hold the boat back. This boat hits a top speed of 55 mph at 5650 rpm and her optimum cruise was at 27.6 mph at 4000 rpm. This all adds up to 109 miles of fun at best cruising speed. Out in big water youll be impressed with both her handling and the fact that everyone has a comfortable dry ride. Her 7.5-foot beam provided a stable ride and she cuts right through waves like a samurai sword. Once aboard the SeaDoo 1800 youll begin to understand why we had that we have to sell this boat. The Challenger has much more to offer than just a fun, fast ride. Shes a versatile jet boat that can be used for a number of different water activities. Besides being attractive the SeaDoo 1800 is also nimble, fast and has very precise handling.

Questions
Dear Sir or Madame,
I found your ad while searching for images of the graphic package for a Sea Doo Sportster. I create vinyl graphics on a small scale. A friend of mine has a Sportster he is restoring. It has the identical teal colored graphics. His graphics are scraped off in many spots and I am unable to re-create the original decals. I have had no luck locating clear images of the boat graphics, nor anyone selling the graphic package on the internet. Your ad pictures are too low of a resolution to outline the graphic. I am asking if you would be willing to send me a few clear images of your boat decals. The decal images I require are the "sportster 1800" logo and the graphic pattern above the name SeaDoo. Sincerely, John J. Johnson of www.signaturegraphx.ca
