My dad is 81 years old. This is his boat. He just sold his Almond orchard in Oakdale California, and he is moving to Las Vegas to enjoy his life.
My parents bought this boat in 2008, while they were living in New Braunfels Texas. They used the boat on Lake McQueeny for two months to run around the lake, it ran great.
A few months after buying the boat my parents moved to Oakdale California and converted a family cattle ranch to an almond farm, they have been there ever since. My dad towed the boat to California in early 2009 and parked it, never used it, never been on the water in California.
Here is the problem: My mom cannot find the title. They bought the boat off of classifieds board in 2008 but never registered it because they started making plans to move to California about the same time the boat arrived in Texas. The boat and trailer will come with the most recent registration from Alabama in 2007 (see photo) It has the previous owners name and info. My parents can give you a Bill of Sale, that is all some states require.
I know there are ways to apply for lost title, etc. They dont have time (Moving to Vegas in less than 2 weeks) and this boat is at the bottom of the priority list for them. My mom asks if I could help them sell it, so here it is! I apologize for the lack of good pictures, this is what she gave me, I still live in Texas so I cant run out there and snap some pics. I have no idea how many hours but remember it was a very low hour boat when they got it, still would be. Buy it to fix up, buy it for parts, buy it for??
No reserve auction will start at $500 because the trailer alone is worth more than that. You are welcome to go inspect this boat before you bid, its in Oakdale California, near Modesto, Stockton area.
NO RESERVE! Must pay within 3 days of auction close and pick up before May 2, 2022.
This is a true NO RESERVE auction. High bidder wins, whether its $500 or $50,000. Whatever it brings will be a part of my parents well deserved retirement.
If you have questions, please send them to me and I will get a hold of my dad. He does not have a cell phone (or want one). I can call him in the afternoons and get your questions answered. I only visit a few times a year, so my personal knowledge is limited. If I lived closer, I would pick this boat up myself and put a battery in it and get it back on the water. I drove it when it was in Texas, they are a lot of fun!
