PROJECT! 1983 Wellcraft 38 foot Scarab Scorpion hull is made with Kevlar and nice steel MAKO triple axle trailer. Yes, this is one of those Wellcraft 38 foot Scarab Scorpion go fast boats as seen on Mimi Vice. Hull: The hull has no issues I'm aware of! The old wrap on the sides has mostly been stripped away, no blisters on the bottom, reveling the Kevlar hull and transom appear sound and not water damaged. Engines: NO ENGINES! The 454 Mercuiser engines and exhaust were removed. Everything else like trim pumps, steering pumps, fuel pumps, etc. is there and still rigged for big block Chevrolet marine engines. e.g., 454", 502" or even 572".The Borg Warner Velvet Drive transmissions with bellhousings are there, #1 - Ratio 1:1, Model Number AS1-71C, S/N 92246 and #2 - Ratio 1:1, Model Number AS1-71C, S/N 100527 and a spare #3 - Model Number AS2-72C, S/N 12687.The out-drives are TR/TRS. The Port out-drive has a prop and turns freely; The starboard out-drive does not come with a prop and the prop shaft appears to be twisted. The helm is complete and still rigged. Making for easy repowering! The seats and interior appear to be complete and serviceable. Just need detailing! There is a "Manetek Power Plus" panel to the Port side as you come into the salon and two nice bolster seats, a small head to the starboard side, then a nice cabinet with sink and micro., forward are two nice sofas and forward is a sleeping v-birth. We hold a clean/clear California title to the boat. The steel MAKO triple axle trailer is really nice! Has an electric tow hitch lift jack with 12 volt battery in the storage box and two matching spare wheels and tires. Has electric brakes. Tires, wheels and wheel bearings are good. I just towed it 300 miles with my Suburban and it towed nice at 70 mph going down I-5...You should use a HD 3/4 ton or better to tow with! There are two 2" x 2" x 4ft. steel guides not seen in the pictures that help guide the boat onto the trailer. They fit into pockets at the corners of the trailer frame. We hold a clean/clear California title to the trailer. The 2001 Chevrolet Suburban is available with the boat and trailer for an additional $9,995, that's less then I paid for the factory remanufactured 4L80E transmission, factory remanufactured transfer case, Chip FOOS 20" wheels and new 35 inch tall tires. It is a Heavy Duty 2500 4x4 with 12,500 GVW, 8.1 liter Vortec engine, LT trim package in gray leather with 3rd row seating with rear A/C and heat. The AccuRide Suspension keeps the truck level pulling the boat. We hold clean/clear Oregon title to the Suburban. I can deliver boat and trailer with my Suburban for $2.00 per mile round trip plus my fuel costs calculated at 10 mpg. I'm willing to store the boat and trailer free of charge for up to 30 days after receipt of full payment by direct bank to bank deposit or cash...After 30 days I'll need $50.00 per day storage fees.$9,995 is my "Buy-it-Now-Price" for the boat with pictured outdrives, three transmissions and trailer! NOTE: We are willing to keep the out drives and transmissions and reduce the sale price by $3,000 and/or I'm willing to keep the trailer for a further reduction in Sale Price of $3,000. My $9,995 cash price for the Suburban is firm! If, you want the boat and trailer and/or Suburban, then please call or text me direct at phone to schedule a time that works for both of us for you to come to my hanger on the Christmas Valley Airport to look over and purchase the boat and trailer with or without the Suburban. Thank for your interest! Brent and Jack. PS: I can text more pictures...
