Hi Im selling this really nice boat for a great price. The boat is a DOCUMENTED USCG VESSEL. The coast guard holds the title but I have the release papers ready to go whether buyer decides to keep it DOCUMENTED and or request TITLE. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THE BOAT HAS 90hrs OF ENGINE RUN TIME ONLY. The boat has very little use and is in superb condition overall.
THE GOOD.You are looking at a 2001 Regal Commodore 2960 with 90 hrs on the Mercruiser TBI 5.0 litres. The westerbeke generator has 36hrs on it. Both engines and generator run perfect. The starboard engine has intermittent starter solenoid (not the one on the starter but the 15$ slave solenoid mounted high) but thats all I can say about the engines and generator. They have been ran and tested before boat was hauled approximately 30 days ago. I personally load tested the generator with the A/C and the water heater on and it ran with no issue during load up and running. I did not bring the boat up on place and speed because of the heavy corrosion on the lower unit of the drives. However the engines ran fine and I was able to throttle up when docking etc with no issues of power or hesitation.
The inside of the cabin is immaculate. The bathroom looks and smells like its never been used. The interior upholstery items, cushions, kitchen area, bedding andamenities are almost new. The boat only having 90hrs on it is proof of how little this boat was used. It has a very nice 10inch upgraded GPS unit. It also has a very clean low hour A/C unit that works. Ive tested almost every option and gadget on this boat. Everything works! The sump box for the shower is unbelievably clean for a 2001 boat.THE HOURS PROVE THE LITTLE OF USE ON THIS BOAT!
THE BAD.The Bravo 3 lower units have bad corrosion damage. I saved the props and actually saved the lowerunits and the shafts and gears inside are good for "RESALE". The upper housings on the bravo 3's are fine and work with no major corrosion issues.The transom assemblys need service and repair from barnacles. "THE BOAT WAS PAINTED AND MAINTAINED CORRECTLY UNTIL 1-2 YRS AGO WHERE IT BEGAN COLLECTING THE BARNACLES AND CORROSION YOU SEE NOW."
If replacing the transoms with new ones these will be go for "RESALE AS PART' because there not totally trashed.2 cusions on the rear cockpit have a very slight tint to the top of them being the highest point and rubbing the cover there not torn. Not a big deal considering the value of boat and selling price but im trying to note all issues.One keyswitch at the helm is funky but works should be replaced.Boat needs bottom paint and has a maximum of 15 minuature blisters the size of a dime maybe and located ONLY ON THE CHIMES which is very normal for these boats after a couple years in and out of the water. Bennett trim tab rams should be replaced.Boat needs a detail and buff and wax. It was taken care of very good up too about 2 years ago.This boat is fully loaded. Could travel to the bahamas or any remote areas that fuel capacity will let you travel. Boat is loaded to the max!
If you do some research on the value of these boats for sale you can see they go for 30-40k asking with 300+ hrs on them. At the price im selling this boat some one can install brand new transom assemblys, bravo 1 lower units from SEI marine. Bottom paint. Full service on engines and gene. Detail boat and come in under 30k total vested.
