When the factory 4.3 V6 wore out on me, I had it replaced with a brand new Volvo Penta 5.0 GXi V8 engine, straight from Volvo Penta. The current engine has no problem accelerating my boat to 55 MPH in a flash. I had them install a brand new SX-M outdrive at the same time, as the V8 engine requires a different gear ratio than the V6. I also had a Turning Point propeller installed at the same time for better acceleration out of the hole, and better top end speed. Just had a brand new gimbal bearing, bellows, water tube, shift cable, fuel filters, engine oil filter, engine oil, impeller, and gear oil done as a part of regular service. There is 146 hours on all of the mechanical gear, except for the fuel pump. The fuel pump was replaced 20 engine hours ago to address the Volvo Penta technical service bulletin upgrading the electric pumps.The hull is simply the best hull currently on the market. The FastTrac hull is a stepped hull. Even if you don't care about the extraordinary speed and handling offered by this hull, it is definitely the smoothest and driest ride you will ever have on a 21 foot boat. It doesn't bounce on chop or wake. It just blows it apart somewhere under there, and you never really feel it. This hull makes the boat unusually fast and unusually smooth for what it is. Literally rides on a cushion of air.The interior is certified to seat 9 people. Nobody has to stay at home. The sun deck on the rear is nice and big. The captain's chair flip-flops like a leaning post, so the driver can sit facing the rear passengers, which is cool if you are using the table. Passenger seat folds flat to make another place for people to lie down. There are hidden color shifting LEDs for the entire cockpit, which you can change to any color by remote control, or just have it shift through all of the colors. The stereo is a basic 4 channel Sony unit. It sounds good. Cockpit and front covers are included with the boat. The forward "docking" lights are projector LEDs.The trailer is a good galvanized ShoreLand'r single axle trailer. I have towed this boat to lakes all over the state of Florida. Tows ridiculously well under all conditions, and does not have the tire scrub or resistance encountered with a double axle trailer. Launch and recovery are super easy. This is no "universal" design. 100% engineered for this boat.I am offering delivery of the boat to the buyer FOR A FEE upon COMPLETE PAYMENT if the buyer so desires.
