After my stroke, my Doctor told me I needed lots of physical therapy, so I bought her and named her "Phishical Therapy". She is a 2012 Ranger Angler 1880VS multi-species deep and wide, safe, comfortable with gobs of storage. I'm torn between 2 lovers! This rig still looks and runs like new, but I am at that age that if I ever want to buy another new boat, that time is now. So, I ordered another one just like Phishical Therapy. She will be ready mid Feb. The new one is costing around $54,000, so if I take $27,000 I get for her, that means I gotta spend $27,000 of my brats' inheritance for my new one. Less for them to fight over! We live in south Texas and fish for crappie in the stumps of Coleto Creek Reservoir 2-4 days most every week, March thru December. PT has never been on any other body of water. After each trip, she gets a rinse and a wipe, then pulled into our drive-thru garage, ready for the next trip. She as never spent night outside. She looks like new on the inside and almost new on the outside. Like I mentioned, we fish in stumps and stumps have branches. I have never been a great Branch Manager, so she does have a few gel coat marks where branches have rubbed against her, not bad--ya got to look for them. Last year, I had a new $3300.00 Lowrance HDS-9 installed in the console. This gadget is fantastic, down & side structure scan, finds crappie and lots more I don't know how to use. Has custom Ranger boat cover, put it on once --looks nice, but a pain in the tail for a 1 1/2 arm man to install. The motor is a Yamaha 150 horse, fuel injected 4 stroke. It has been dealer maintained and has never sputtered! Has stainless steel prop and a stump bumper skeg guard. We do not ski--she is normally run @ 3500-4000 rpm between crappie holes, only has 222 hours run time. The trolling motor is a MinKota Terrova and has never been used. The trolling motor batteries are what came with the boat. Only time the trolling motor is put in water is to use the front Lowrance locator, as the transducer is on the trolling motor. Has a 3 bank automatic battery charger system. The trailer is a Ranger trailer. Has folding tongue, stainless steel brakes, spare tire, road armor coat, LED lights, including back-up lights. Back-up lights are kinda like putting perfume on a pig, but looks good backing down the boat ramp. I installed stainless steel cam cleats on all 4 corners of PT. Cam cleats are the neatest thing since shirt pockets, simply lay the rope in the cleat and pull to adjust. When ready to go to next hole, pull up and go! They ain't cheap, but well worth the money. I already have them ordered for PT II. (see picture) This rig is lake ready and needs nothing but a new caring owner and water. You are not buying any regrets! If you have any questions or just want to talk about her, call me. My house is phone and my cell is phone. Someone is gonna get a great deal on a great rig. Low starting price and a low buy it now. Winter is boat bargain season. Take advantage now! Buyer is responsible for transportation.
