Walkaround with Cuddy Cabin
-
Why do we want to sell our boat?
We originally purchased this boat with the intention of restoring it. We love offshore saltwater fishing, but really couldnt afford to purchase a boat with these specs brand new. It so happens that my better half is a diesel mechanic, which naturally means that he can fix anything. So, the big plan was to sink some free labor into what would be the perfect boat for us. Grouper, here we come!
Then, the search for the title began. We purchased the boat without a title, which was no big deal because it so happens that Im pretty savvy when it comes to researching and squaring away things of this nature. Finally, after two years, we got the title and its clean! Whew!
Then our son came along. What boat? Saltwater fishing? I dont know what youre talking about. As you can probably imagine, in came the baby, and out went about 100 projects. I am sure this scenario sounds familiar to many a proud parent.
So, here we are. Wed like to offload this project to someone else who will enjoy having such an awesome boat as we hoped to have, and in turn make a little money to fund sons first trip to Disney.

This auction does not include the sale of the motor outright. Why?
-
Because we are not sure that the motor we received with this boat can be mounted on it. However, you are welcome to do your own research, and if it turns out that it can be mounted, we can discuss selling it separately. Alternatively, if you choose to purchase through the "buy it now" option, we'd be happy to throw the motor in for free.
-
Motor is a Mercury. The cover says 175 but the lower unit has 200 marked on it.
-
S/N: 4734115
-
Mercurys telephone number: phone

-
We could not get the motor to manually turn over; it seems to be seized up. Again, this would be all fine and well if we had the time to rebuild it

Terms & Conditions
The nitty gritty protection for both parties.
All bidders must be within the United States.
We are selling this boat and trailer as is. What does that mean? It means that we cannot guarantee the suitability of the boat or trailer for their intended use. If you want to read the UCC rule that this term is taken from, please click here. However, we wouldnt have purchased this boat and trailer if we didnt think they were capable of their intended uses. Considering that you dont know us and we dont know you, I think its important to state that there are no guarantees so that everyones expectations are properly set.
What constitutes sale completion? I think weve all bought and sold items in a typical this for that format, but the rules here are a little different. Winning this classifieds board auction and subsequent payment do not in and of themselves guarantee or promise to you, the buyer, the completion of the sale or grant you any rights not afforded by the classifieds board terms. According to classifieds board terms, a sale is completed once the item is either physically transferred/delivered by the seller or picked up by the buyer or buyers agent. In the case of this auction, the buyer is solely responsible for arranging shipping and/or transportation from the boat and trailers current location, and for all associated costs. If the buyer or buyer's agent does not take possession of the boat and trailer within 14 days, the buyer is liable for any costs seller may incur for storage and/or for moving the boat and trailer to a longer-term storage facility.
A bit about payment. By ultimately placing the winning bid, you are entering a contract and committing to pay in full for your bid amount. You are representing that your classifieds board bidder ID is legitimate. We will make every effort to contact you within a reasonable amount of time post auction close, ideally immediately upon close, but clearly not at 1:00 a.m. for instance. Accordingly, your failure to promptly provide us with your contact information (e.g., email address and/or phone number) is an admission on your part that you are not making a good faith effort to complete this transaction. We reserve the right to cancel any bids you have made in bad faith.
If payment is made and seller does not complete the transaction for any reason whatsoever, seller reserves right to return any and all buyer payments made without recourse, promise, or reimbursement of any expenses. Seller also can refuse to accept any payment, even after a winning bid has been made, for any reason whatsoever from any bidder. The transmission of any invoice contract terms by any means whatsoever or request of payment do not alter the terms of the non-binding transaction.
Finally, the bit about buyers protection. If the winning bidder feels that weve misrepresented the boat and trailer in any way, the winning bidder can leave the items where they are and request funds back in full.

Questions
Weve sold several vehicles through the newspaper over the years, and a few things on classifieds board. Theres a big difference between selling a tube of lipstick and selling a boat. So, please feel free to send us a message with your phone number so we can do our best to answer all of your questions. Were happy to send you additional pictures or take a video for you. Ultimately, we aim to provide you with as much detail up front in order to facilitate a transparent and fun auction process for both of us.
