Very nice 23' Proline 230 Cuddy Cabin Walkaround with large cabin and
the largest rear fishing deck in its class. I take this boat 20 to 30 miles
offshore about 3 times a month and it is the most comfortable riding
boat I have ever been in. Comes with a nice tandem axle aluminum trailer. Twin 115 hp OMC's (Johnson/Evinrude for those that keep asking) that run amazing with
no problems, compression tested less than 6 months ago. My marine
mechanic can verify the engines. Floor
is VERY solid and has no weak spots. This boat is water ready and I
never have any issues with it. It has a large beam so its very stable offshore. I haven't washed the outside so it looks a little dirty but the inside is very clean. A good scrub and buff would completely change the appearance of the boat. Two brand new batteries that I
bought about five month ago and are under warranty. It has a 110 gallon
fuel tank and this boat is very large, tip of the bow to end of the
motors is almost 30' so if looking for something fairly small this is not
the boat. I also have two seats that I paid $400 for at west marine
that go in the back. Cuddy has all the cushions but I do not have a picture of them, good shape but need a good cleaning. Fish finder and marine radio stay with the boat but everything else (life jackets, fishing gear, etc.) will transfer to my next boat. Bimini top's will be included but are in rough shape.
Known issues: Trims are not operational* (see below) and there are a lot of gauges so some of them need to be looked at/replaced. This boat in it's current condition can be taken offshore today with no problems but is being sold as is. There is a very small leak in the port side hydraulic steering but all you have to do is ad a little fluid to the reservoir after a few trips. Small cover for anchor storage is missing in the bow but I believe it was taken off because it would not close with a large anchor in it.If you use this boat strictly for offshore fishing as I did nothing will need to be done to it. I put it in at multiple boat ramps with no issues getting in and out because it sits very high and transport is no issue either. If you plan on taking it in shallow water the trims may become an issue. This is a solid and reliable boat.*Since posting this ad I have briefly looked at the trims. I replaced a couple fuses and the down trim is operating on the port engine but the up does not. The starboard engine is not making a noise at all so could be a power issue or maybe a fuse. Not sure but hope this provides a little help. If you know about what it will cost to repair them send me a message with what you come up with and maybe we can work something out on the sales price. $500 Deposit due within 24 hours of agreed price. Clear title in hand.I will be more than happy to help if you hire a shipping company, just need a heads up. There will not be a charge for this.
