Powerquest is one of the best boat builders for quality in construction, finish and performance, very similar, but in my opinion, better then a Formula. And far better then countless others.This is one of the best built Performance boats on the market and the 290 is the perfect size, it is complimented well with two stock Hi- Performance Big block Mercruisers.Why do I say this is probably the cleanest 1994, 290 that exists? this boat has never been left in the water and has been stored indoors, it only has 239/236 hours on the engines.THE BOAT HAS ONLY BEEN USED IN FRESH WATER.The boat is all ORIGINAL, the way it left the factory (except for the sound system), I would bet it is the only one with the factory "290" Decal Graphics still on the deck.The bilge could not be cleaner, the engines look BRAND NEW(even underneath), the seats are still soft and in great condition, the exterior shines with a deep gloss.There is not one blemish on the bottom.This is a Classy Performance boat. It has Twin Mercruiser 454 Magnums at 365HP each, Custom made stainless spiral core mufflers have been placed inside the rubber thru-hull exhaust tubes to lower the sound so it will meet the requirements for Lake George, the fresh water lake in upstate NY it resides at.If you choose to remove the mufflers it would take approx. 15minutes each. It rumbles like a 60's Big Block Vette with side pipes, not obnoxious at all. It will do 72MPH with 25 Stainless Mirage props, but I have chosen to run 23 Mirage stainless props, so she cruises real nice at 2800-3000 rpm in the mid 40's, Lake George's speed limit is 45mph.This boat is carburated, so its like working or maintaining a muscle car from the 60's-early 70's Very easy an simple. no computers.Nice comfortable cabin and fully loaded with options.Sleeping for two, with hidden marine head storage (never used and not on board)Microwave, Refrigerator, Shore side A/C, and sink.Power engine hatch with three battery system and switch.Dual piston "insta trim" K-Planes(trim tabs)with indicators.Twin Bravo One stern drives, 150: Ratio with IMCO stainless tie bar.The following electronics were factory added, Standard Horizon VHF and stubby stainless antenna, Richie compass, windshield wiper, And recently a Standard Horizon GPS chart 150.The following canvas comes with this boat, Two cockpit/mooring covers, one light gray and one Brand new, custom made Dark Blue Sunbrella at a cost of over 1,200The boat also comes with two Bimini tops, one light gray and one dark blue.The boat also has a complete dark blue camper top, never used.PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING OPTION, This boat has a custom professionally installed sound system, with three amps, 10 speakers,4 Subs, It has a Mix-trax deck.The following stereo equipment is installed.Pioneer MIX-TRAX deck, blends your music like a DJSerius satellite antenna.HD Radio, CD player.DVD player.JL Audio.Memphis audio.Rockford Fosgate Amp 600w RMSKenwood Amp KAC-624US Amps.Infinity speakers.MTX Subs.JL Audio SubsIt is all wired correctly and sounds AWESOME!The following service was just done,Stern drive oil changed and serviced.Tune ups.
