Penn Yan Playmate

RARE Penn Pan Playmate. This is an all original stored inside boat. This came from a collection of boats and motors I bought locally. This was the pride of the owners collection and he showed it many times at boat shows. The boat is museum show quality. There is not a motor with it. I have possible motors that can go with it of various years for additional purchase. One of which would be the 1929 Johnson "32" 26 hp four cylinder which would have been installed at the time when it was a new boat. As far as I know the boat was never used by the prior owner and only used on the trailer at boat shows. This was in the top three top of the line for Penn Yan in 1929-1930. There were two other models that a bit more deluxe with interior and windshields etc. This boat has the floating floors as was an option. There can be very few of these boats left as in 1929-1930 boat production was not exactly high in numbers given the financial crisis of the time. The Tee Nee Trailer is included but will needs some rehab to the bearing and tires. The hardware is as new. The varnish and paint is near perfect as you can find in an original boat of this time period. I am open to offers (reasonable) as I would like it to go to someone who will use it lightly and or just show it. I intended to keep this out of all of the boats I acquired recently but more just keep coming and I am never going to use it so it sits in the back of the shop. However it looks good there and draws attention! Includes full mooring cover made for boat.
