1986 Pacemaker 26SF Cruiser. ** This is the desirable year made with all fiberglass stringers, no wood stringers to rot out. Single-engine Mercruiser 305 straight inboard, closed cooling. 2 fuel tanks, approx 120 gallons total.***Relisted again. Please note that this is not a trailer boat. You cannot tow it. Just prior to the previous reserve listing ending, I was informed by my yard that during the pre-commission engine servicing that a compression check was done and the engine has low compression in 3 cylinders, indicating a need for head gasket replacement and possible valve job. The engine actually runs and idles well with minimal blow-by and no oil contamination, but it will need to be repaired. The boat cleans up well and is a nice pocket cruiser SF for someone with the time to pull the heads and make it perfect. The engine is easily accessible from all sides. In the interest of full disclosure, the raw water pump impeller was replaced shortly before the boat was stored, but the raw water pump seal may be leaking or the hose is loose; had no time to investigate it. Engine valve job required. One bilge pump automatic float switch needs to be replaced. The electric horn needs to be replaced; a new horn is included. The plywood battery tray should be replaced. The boat was just washed but still needs to be spiffed up with hull wax and teak oil in a few spots. The interior is good just needs to be cleaned up from several years of storage.The vessel is still on the hard in storage at the Jersey Shore near Toms River. Winter storage 2018-19 was paid for. 2 added photos show interior when last used and clean before storage. Currently the bimini tops and frames are stored in the cabin along with other things like ropes and parts, and the interior needs to be cleaned up once this stuff is removed. The old depth finder in the photo is not included and has been discarded. A newer LCD fish finder is included, as is a stereo in the cabin built in, and marine radio.
