Magnificent 60' Pacemaker Motoryacht. Business opportunity, live-aboard or just have fun boating. Please read everything below to make an educated decision before bidding and welcome to call me if you have more questions. My number is at the bottom.
This magnificent yacht"Inspiration"was USCG Certified until last year for commercial use as a charter vessel. She was cruising guests on San Diego Bay for years and is a familiar sight for many.
The hull is wood, a healthy alternative if live-aboard is considered. She has to be taken to a new home. The present moorage is not transferable. (Sheraton Hotel Marina in San Diego)Underway pictures were from two years back. She is mechanically solid. See videos of bothgood runningCummins8VT 370M Turbodiesels, 740 HP in total. 2001 Isuzu 12 kWdiesel Generator, needs battery, runs well.
Several big improvements were made to the yacht (Newdeckand more) and a few are still outstanding. Once completed and USCG re-Certified, she could be a nice side business.
For non-business use: comfortable home or a family cruiser she doesn't need re-Certification. She is a USCG Documented vessel.
Specs:
LOA-63Beam-164Draft-34 Fuel 2x250 gal aluminum. Water 100+75 gal plastic. Waste 2x60 gal
Marine VHF, Garmin GPS/plotter, Depth sounder, Stereo, Compass.
Engine hours 640 hrs since 2001 rebuilt.Cruising speed 10 knots. She is not build for ocean crossings, but is capable for long coastal passages after some repairs are done to ensure a safe and pleasant trip with appropriate weather.
She is mobile and doesn't leak and can be sailed out of the slip with a short check up list complete, like filters, belts, liquids, controls. I have a local captain contact that can deliver her for you if not too far away. He used to own this boat years ago and know her very well. My plan was to sail her to the nearest Mexico boatyard and do improvements/repairs as needed for a fraction of the price and workers there are skilled. At this point I suspect that a few ribs may need replacement or reinforcement, the carpet below was removed in preparations for that.I do not have a survey. Some forward cabin interior panels (see one picture showing that). Window needed and window truck in the main salon. Several small wooden areas here and there I would suspect and expect to be imperfect. Pictures are current, but still don't do justice. In person more imperfections are visible specially with carpet off :-))
I am not in the area and cannot get there anytime soon. Conducting boat work remotely is not my way, hence selling her.She is a wooden boat and needsa diligentand caring owner to provide years of reliable service. I saw similar size and age Pacemakers on the market during this year for well over $100K
The vessel is USCG Documented and the ownership transfer will be handled by a marine Titling agency at the buyers cost.
Please do not ask me about shipping quotes. I cannot quote you on the service I don't provide. Call boat movers and or shipping brokers for overseas quotes.
