Reluctantly selling this Pacemaker project yacht. I have had it forabout a year and have done many improvements to it. She has new ref/ freezer, battery maintinence system, carbs, starters, plugs ,wires, bedding, aft cabin glass and more. She still needs tons of cosmetics like carpet and some topside fiberglass work on the roof, but overall she is a sound hull. All fiberglass and THICK !! Hull is sound with no damage anywhere. Railings are all perfect. Minor holes from prior screws for canvas need to be sealed.
One engine runs, the other seems to be locked as I cannot turn it by hand and the starter is missing. New manifolds.I bought it that way. I have since powered thru the STBD engine. Systems aboard include 3 zoned, separate ac/heater compressing units, twin sani-flush electrosan systems in working order, complete galley with stove and a complete standing shower head with maserator. Twin galvanized tanks. With fresh batteries and fueland a day of put zing, you will be able to motor her out on at least one engine.
I got her and started to open her up from years of neglect and gutted the interior to what you see in the one pic. She is now open in the main salon and the lower/forward berth has been semi converted to an office with a desk and lots of useful space. The aft cabin is basically untouched and massive enough to live in comfortably.
The windows in the main salon were removed and plywood plugs were made to be fiberglassed in place so that newer, more modern looking windows could be installed. They have been fiberglassed on the seams to prevent water intrusion and if you wanted to go back to the track system(that ALWAYS leak), you can easily do that. The Mahogany interior panels are perfect and don't need anything. The floor is solid and nearly all of the 6.2 million freakin staples from countless carpet installs have been removed BY HAND ! Whew! what a damn job that was.
Salon ceiling is perfect, no tears or stains, as is the aft cabin ceiling.
The flybridge and roof supporting the flybridge need reglassing on the top for strength, or simply remove it. I am offering this yacht project to all competent handymen. If you have to pay for the work, save both of us(mostly me)the trouble of loosing valuable time only to find out you cannot pull the trigger. Just go BUY a nicer yacht for 20k. This one has been sold twice for over 6k and both parties had NO CLUE how BIG she is and transportation is a concern. The sale includes the remainder slip fees until 12-31-14. After that, it's all you. Slip fees here are 1800/yr and due in Jan. Currently insured at 20k.
